On an unrelated note.. kinda have a craving for some chicken piccata. I think that will be on the menu this weekend.

Local restaurant make theirs with artichoke hearts vs capers. It's pretty good. I normally use capers but will prolly try to recreate it with the artichoke hearts this weekend.

Job satisfaction and work/family life is something that is hard to put a number on but one that I've grown to appreciate. Given the choice, I'd pick a personal fulfilling job that pays less over a job that pays more at the expense of my sanity.

Sanity's overrated. I'm considering just going without

Good Friday Morning! It's a clear 53° on the way to 64° today. Waiting for a Dominion Energy technician to evaluate our power consumption.

I can help.

You use too much electricity. You need to turn everything off between 4pm and 9pm. You should switch to a bug diet to help with methane emissions. I’ll send you my invoice.

Not at Horsham: 😳

Chick-Fil-A wants to add a second drive-thru lane at its Welsh Road location. (Scott Anderson/Patch)
HORSHAM TOWNSHIP β€”Chick-Fil-A feels your pain.

Officials and representatives of the fast-food chain understand that the Welsh Road location's parking lot can cause mass confusion, congestion, and frustration. They've heard it from residents, from those nearby who frequent the eatery, and even from township officials.

"It's a problem. We all know that," said Horsham Township Council President Mark McCouch, a regular customer.

So the eatery's officials appeared before the council last week to say they have a plan for easing that congestion and reconfiguring some of the traffic.

Attorney Julie Bernstein, representing the eatery on behalf of the Kaplin Stewart law firm in Blue Bell, outlined a preliminary land development plan that would shuffle around traffic.

All that and a recipe recommendation too. Thanks! πŸ˜‚

The inspection if "free" but I wanted to call their bluff. They periodically send out a letter claiming our average monthly home power consumption, (1,750 KWH) is more than similar homes, (1,200 KWH) and much more than energy efficient homes, (750 KWH) in the area. I believe they are pulling those umbers out of the, uhm, air.
