"Cheating" might be the wrong word... some could classify it as working smarter, not harder.

On an average day for me at the circus I get around 18,000 steps/day but it's just walking around the store so there's no cardio involved.

C’mon now. Had to close the week with 2000 steps with a lung full of cigars and a 1/3rd belly of bourbon. Marched through the third quarter.

Before I rip you for being soffft, I’ll tell you I am well behind my usual pace today.

Did hit my stretch goal of 55 miles for the week, closing last night.

Now getchure ass off da couch and knocked a quick thousand. Another 750 per halftime and you’re halfway home.

^. We got 11,000 in before Bloody Mary’s on the patio. 127 zone minutes. Decent for a Sunday

Good Sunday Afternoon! I didn't get out of bed until noon today, my back is pissed off, not sure why, but it is.

It's an overcast °47 on the way to °49 today.

MVP performance!

Am rebounding here. 9,000 steps, 95 in the zone. Mostly cardio.

I tried to step quietly. Didn’t want to wake up that retired, prematurely old, Florida sailor. 💤😴💤

Yep. Not in real life but when doing the Red Cross CPR/First aid certification at work as part to the safety team (first responder before the real first responders showed up).

Now days the AED machines pretty much walk you through it step by step with a recorded voice and lights and stuff to make sure you stuck them on correctly.

Odd timing on this question. Just a few hours ago I was talking to my son about something or another and CPR/First aid came up and that I would like to get re-certified. I asked him if they did it at his school. As far as he knows, they don't.

We both agreed that it should be a mandatory part of a curriculum in a class like heath class or Physical Ed. Sure, health classes teach them about sex ed, puberty, balanced diet, exercise and stuff but according to him CPR was never taught.

Kinda sad really. In my opinion it, it should be mandatory before you can graduate High School. The Red Cross CPR/First Aid training is only like a 4 hour course.

We have a Phillips ARD, no occasion to use it though, thank goodness.

I know an EMT trainer and asked about some training, he says hook it up and follow the directions, it will not shock unless necessary.

What these guys said. It's got pictures where to place pads let's you know if it has proper connection, and even talks you through compressions and breathing. Basically idjit proof. Well, highly idjit resistant anyway
