The Dems realize going after guns is gonna be very difficult.

But taxing the chit out of ammunition, and requiring reporting on bulk purchases, and eliminating online ammo sales?
That may just work!!

True, and so-called "reasonable gun control" is just another step on the road to making all firearms illegal. Unfortunately, there are too many sheep that believe it will make them safe.

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State....

If you are not in a well regulated Militia or such is not necessary then no guns !

You can't just pick out the parts you like.

Tony were all the militia….and please ignore why the amendment was written.

I’m gonna buy some bullets today now and write Tony’s name on the boxes. My two brothers and my best friend are gonna go shoot some scary guns tomorrow. Very scary ones with fully semi automatic clips.

Probably gonna grab some tannerite targets too

And whom, in your opinion should do the regulating as you interpret it? A trustworthy gubmint agency like the AFT that redefines its definitions every couple of years? Because if you form an actual trained militia that doesn't have oversight, you will be labeled a terrorist organization.

I read an article on interpreting the "well regulated" term, and it was their assertion that it simply meant supplied. When the colonists chose to stand against Britain, they had people willing to fight, but not enough guns and ammo. That particular problem has been resolved. Let's not recreate it

If 3-D printers can make guns, can they also make bullets?

Then we'd need to discuss the finer points of defining regulated vs regular

"Regulated" was defined in 18th Century English as "to make regular", in other words, "consistent and properly
operated”. "Regulated" had nothing to do with additional modern definitions like politicians and bureaucrats dicktating and barking orders on a piece of paper.

Some people like to butcher words, ignoring what they meant at the time they were used, it's a tool they use to sell their presentist propaganda to mushheads.

Yeah, that's what I was getting at in my response to Tony, but Brew opted to head down a facetious tangent. And you know I loves me a facetious tangent
