Lol, compartmentalization (and booze).

I couldn't eat BBQ chicken for a couple weeks after being first on- scene to a house fire where people didn't get out in time (don't beat the fire department getting there, dummy!), but would normally not have any trouble grabbing lunch after leaving a gnarly crime scene or accident.

I've been strongly considering this lawn thing as well. May have to bring it up to the committee for review

Big transition week for my parents. Yesterday, my father was enrolled into a nursing home at least temporarily. This afternoon, mom is having a dual pacemaker installed and the old one removed.

The best case scenario is the surgery goes as planned, she is back home tonight, and she follows all the post up instructors for the week of recovery and is fully back on her feet.

The optimistic outcome for dad is he uses this time in the nursing home to get physical therapy, get and stay motivated to get in shape, and is able to return home to mom. Based on the last number of years, this is an unlikely outcome.

I openly welcome your prayers for them, and for my sister and I as we attempt to navigate this mess.

In the end I guess, I’m praying for God’s Will to be done, and for us to have patience, calm, and clarity.

Peace be with you, Brothers.

Morning gents

Well the trip to Biloxi was really expensive this time . Some phugging thief stole my cell phone and got all my info. I had to cut the phone off and get a new one . I being a dumbass did not have my Lock Screen on. So he was able to access everything. He even got on Facebook and was messaging his friends. I hate phugging thief’s.
