Did my good deed for the day. JSO (Jacksonville Sheriff's Office) all get take home cars. Name and ID number decals on the cars. Kinda cool...

Anyway, 2 of them parked at a house in my neighborhood. Pretty sure they're working night shift because the cars are always there on the morning walks. Grass edges were growing over onto the sidewalk so I went over with my edger, trimmer and blower and cleaned it all up. Cordless, so not that loud... grass didn't really need mowing.

Bagged up the big stuff and blew all the dirt and small stuff into the grass to fertilize. Looks nice and neat now. 🍺

Sorry, bruddah... that collection is nothing to envy right now. Have you seen the prices for them? Triple what we were paying before 2020. Covid and Ian have devastated Cuba's cigar industry.

I ain't paying those prices. I'll smoke what I got and keep buying the NC's I enjoy.

No, sir. I believe there is merit in a variety of ways to raise our children. We can teach life lessons in different ways.

When my son got himself into debt, I paid it off for him (to save exorbitant interest) but made him pay me back (most of it, interest free) so he learned a lesson.

A) Dad is here to help
B) Nothing is free
C) You incurred the debt... you pay it.

HA! Bring the yard tools, eh?

I walk by the house every day with Tank when we circuit the neighborhood. Some yards are being neglected. JSO is likely short handed and these deputies are probably working a lot of night shift. I don't know them, they don't know me... just figured I'd do some good.

Nobody came out when I did the work. Prolly sleeping.

^I don't get up north much. Too cold. 😰

Did the 2nd sleep study last night, with the cpap mask. Started with just the nose covered but I guess it wasn't doing the trick (funny... I felt I was sleeping good) and they put the full mask and then I slept like sheit. Tore it off and they put the nose mask back on. Nope... whole lotta hell fkn nope. I damn sure will not sleep with a damn mask on.

Got home and slept for 2 more hours. I sleep better without a damn mask!

Tech said they have a mouthguard that will likely work for me. Whatever.

I remember the sleep study stuff. Mostly slept for chit because all the wires hooked up made me afraid to move.

I do the mask thing and can sleep through the night now. Mostly because Mrs Beach doesn't kick me for snoring anymore
