Good Friday Morning to All! It's an overcast 70° on the way to 89° today.

One song and a bugle signal that always brings tears to my eyes. Not like pollen allergy watery eyes but mental and heart felt shedding of tears. Both are very powerful to me for my own reasons.

demotivated auto workers on the line as they measure their income against the forces of globalist domination at the top of their industry.

They aren’t dead yet, but the last seven years have been more fun than the prior 30 years as a Chiefs fan. Not nearly the NFL fan I use to be. Watched maybe 15 minutes of the game last night.

Yep... I watched the first quarter and half of the second, I think, and went to bed. Was 7-7 when I quit.

I predicted on the vherf, before the game bagan, that Detroit was going to get whipped by 20-30 points. Boy was I wrong. But, I am a Lions fan since childhood and am happy they won. Good game too.

Going to CA in October. Laguna Seca raceway. It's been on my bucket list of race tracks and I'm gonna do everything I can to get someone to let me take a car out, even if it's just one of the little Sundae Cup cars like a Fit or a Mini.

Gridlife got the track AND one of very few decibal limit exemptions for our event in October. We've been trying to get there for many years. This event has been two full years of planning. I took a few days off work because I'll be out there for 10 days.

Got my plane tickets today. I let the gridlife people book it, figuring I'd be on a 3 layover flight for 15 hours on Spirit. Nope! United Chicago to San Diego and a little jumper to Monterey. I'm so excited. Don't have to deal with rental car stuff either so no repeat of last year. I was afraid too that I'd be put on a bus/rv for the 50 hour drive.

We've done willow springs 3x kinda to test the market see if laguna could be feasible. I've never gone cause they were small track day only events. Don't need extra staff for those. Laguna is getting a full gridlife festival. Actually, willow springs gridlife is in 2 weeks I thought it already happened.

Laguna Seca Raceway is a gem of a track...used to go to the IMSA sportscar races every year....was a 6 hour race into the night when we started 10-15 years ago...bummer when they shortened the race to a 2 hr and 40 minute spring...been a few years since I last went...

have fun danm!!!
