Other than taking a couple of 2/3 at a driving range and playing miniature golf as a kid, I've never played golf. 🤐

A cheapie Top Flite set. Never golfed but now have a club membership

^ they’ll be fine to learn if you like the game or not. Few years ago I played with a starter set of my buddies just for giggles. I shot a similar number with those clubs as I would with my regulars.

The best approach I’ve found for me is don’t hit it “too bad”. I shoot jigh 80s Low 90s on my decent days. 86 is my best. Sooooo don’t take advice from me. Sadly I can play better than that but I’ll have the 12 hole. Playing in the mountains can really suck 😂
