82466 - Cromagnum Aquitaine Epoch - I bought a box of these churchills on a whim, and with minimal rest tried one tonight, and, well, it was great. Haven't smoked much Romacraft stuff, may need to change that.
82467 - Aganorsa Rare Leaf lonsdale - bit more rest and this is more like it. Not sure it'll unseat the more readily discounted vitolas though.
82468 - cavalier series white lancero - I'm really enjoying these, unique flavors
82469 - Oscar 2012 corojo short robusto - picked on a whim for cheap and... Damn good. May need to pick up more as a good shorter smoke

82471: 5 Vegas Triple-A Box-Press (Robusto) (5.5"x55) Courtesy of Jake THE Snake
Dark matte beautiful cigar, firm and light in the hand. Nothing on the nose except the foot hinted at dark cocoa and dried cherry. Burned line was exquisite and I think that is noteworthy for a BP. Tasted of mellow tobacco and light hits of dark cocoa, final third occasional hits of milk chocolate, oak, toasted bread. Took this to the nub w/my patented Tele-nubber. This was my first 5 Vegas cigar but I wanted to share my thoughts anyway out of respect for Jake who was generous enough to send me 40+ different cigars, each one different from the others. Thank you, Jake for helping me learn about cigar tobacco. You are the champ!

Dumbazz nOOb! You’re probably storing your seegars at 70% ‘cause you read somewhere on the Internets that that’s the BEST RH. 🤦

Are lanceros more prone to tunneling because of less heat from less burning filler to burn the wrapper?

Hmmm, enquiring minds want to know. 🤔

I thought it was the opposite, and that large ring gauges stay hot enough in the middle to burn but may burn more quickly in the middle and not get all the way out to the binder and wrapper.

I can't remember the last a lancero tunneled on me. Mebbe early on when I first started smoking premium cigars but for the most part PLs and Lanceros, as long as they're properly stored and you smoke them slow, are wonderful smokes. Of course ymmv.

82474: Nicarauguan Cream Churchill thanks to Jake
I erroneously said earlier that Jake sent me different cigars, no two alike. In fact the first box had a few Nic , Brazilian, Dominican Creams. This particular stick had a slightly yellow cello. I compared it to some empty cellos I have for “just in case” in the trades. My point being that this one, although not a top shelf expensive as ballz cigar, it looked a bit aged. It was so mellow and the final third had a touch of molasses and cream. Not a lot of other flavors, not a bit of black pepper, no really strong stand out flavors. Excellent burn and easy draw, copious amounts of smoke. I enjoyed it. Thank you, Jake The Snake!

One of the good old ones. Had to smoke something good after that last cigar.

I've had more tunneling / canoeing issues with larger RG than smaller. But, that's just me personally. YMMV.

I rarely have tunneling issues with any vitola but that may be in part the OCD attention I pay to the burn and how much I'll touch up an incorrect burn. OCD as bad as my OCD with numbers and counting.

82483 Illusione Epernay box date 12/21.

Fantastic cigar. Been ages since I've had one. Loads of complex spices some coffee notes, rich earthiness, sweet nuts, creamy texture, lil salt, lil citrus. It's got Everything.

This is what a $10 cigar is, not that el pulpo bullchit. And this cigar doesn't even cost $10.
