Yep... I've had 'em. They're okay, but much like In N Out, I don't see the hype.

I forget when but I wrote something similar a few years ago and even mentioned it on one of the VHerfs (…with StephAn in attendance…). It’s still one of my favorites and I probably would feel a little different about them iffin’ I lived on the Mainland or someplace far, far away and couldn’t get them on a regular basis. But with that being said, I never thought it would become so popular here, in fact, it was literally a throw-in / space eater when I sent my 2012 vs. 2013 nOOb Battle box to Youngra. To my surprise, Rick really enjoyed it so I started putting a bag or two into PIB / trade / box passes. It has since, for some reason, grown to be legendary.

The thing that gets me is that in my younger mind, the chips were w-a-y better when i was growing up. Different oil and definitely saltier. Obviously not exactly on the healthy side of the ledger but at $0.25 per bag, on the more expen$ive side so didn’t get to eat too often. But, it is different than other chips out there so there is a uniqueness to them.
