Chainsaw wouldn't start. Got fuel got spark got compression but somethings not right. So now that's disassembled. I might just buy a new one, it's a 15 year old homeowner grade Echo and it's been worked harder than it was made for. Get me a good one with a 16" or maybe even 18" bar next.

Great Big Fatties whipped my azz...phew...Jake looked like he enjoyed the assault...

gonna lie down for a bit, then a beverage and a lonsdale or a lancero...

prolly sit in the backyard and watch the hummingbirds buzzin around the bird of paradise and the neighbor's bougainvillea...pretty cool how they can hover for so long while sipping the nectar...then they sound like little motorboats when they zip off to the next flower...

Holy clogged arteries, Batman! A 15 lb brisket demolished!?

I don't mind biking short distances of 5-10 miles. Any more and my arse complains. I walk... and sometimes jog.

I walk in da bike lane sometimes. Rode many 100 mile centuries and other longer events but now I have an expensive road bike and mountain bike just hanging in the garage. Unless and until I get a knee replacement they just stare at me.

Happy Sunday to all. No major plans for the day. Run a couple errands, do some laundry. Prolly do a braised beef and roasted taters later for suppa or dinna (that's MA language for supper or dinner). I use dinner and supper interchangeably.

Speaking of MA language, they often turn an R into an A such as the above example. They also turn word ending in an A into an R - for example... "I drive a Toyoder Civic" The last A of Toyoda is pronounced as an R.

I have only seen two in my life, both were while having a cigar. Perhaps it’s the smells, IDK. But yes they are pretty cool little things. Fast as hell too.

I just realized your avatar is flipping the bird. It made me chuckle. It's kinda like my Fu#k 'em Bucky avatar (Bucky the Badger flipping the bird).

Back in college, this character was kinda popular for T-shirts and stuff. The University didn't like it and tried to stop it but came to realize they never trademarked Bucky Badger. There was a court battle for Bucky Badger image - was it public domain or was it property of the University. I think one court determined that since it's been around for decades and not trademarked or anything that it public domain. I think later the University was able to trademark it.

I hear there a couple of races going on today. I have never missed Indy since my dad and brothers used to sit outside and listen to it on the radio as a kid before we had a TV. Kyle Larson is trying to do the double at Indy and then the NASCAR 600 later. I believe only Tony Stewart has ever been able to finish both races although others have tried.

The near 1,000 miles of traveling over hte last week plus is nearing the end. Cousin, his wife and kids are meeting us for lunch only a few miles away.

Dog walk, stick pick up, stacking a lumber pile. Then... restacking the pile after the collapse.

Just short of 4 miles walked this morning. Not DED distance, but DED-Adjacent.

Good Sunday Morning, almost noon, to All! It's 89° on the way to 90° today.

Contemplating Memorial Day, one day feels quite cheap for their sacrifice.

Mowed..........again.

In the south they put an "I" on stuff that ends in an "A"

So, for example, it's not Mozzarella cheese, it's Mozzarelli cheese.

The different dialects even within regions is interesting...

Side note: I have a Honder engine on my plow, I mean Hondi.

Over and out.

Went for hot bagels at 7am. Ate like 5 Everythings.
Then crashed comatose for like 4 hours or longer.
Taking wife to the beach this afternoon and then for dinner somewhere on the water where she can get a fresh grouper sandwich
And... That is my relaxing day!.

Uff da. Folks born and raised in the Midwest do not have an accent or strange dialect. I can prove it if you listen to me speak.

OK, maybe those folks in Minasoooda have an accent but that's about it.
