Toker, it is a beautiful rainy day here in Wood County, Texas. I love the Texas thunderstorms and I missed them when I was away. We’ve probably had enough rain though. Farmers and cow men probably need a dry spell.

Stopped at Meijers on the way home from work and picked up a couple pork butts for $1.50/lb, 4 slabs of back ribs for $3/lb and some salmon halves for $5/lb. Was thinking of bringing the smoker with me but I think I'll smoke everything at home, vac bag and freeze it then thaw whatever portions I need while I'm there rather than trying to cool down hot meat with coolers of ice and RV refrigerators.

87 high for today...glad I walked earlier than usual...
