Morning dudes.

What's the news from gridlife danm?

Everything going smoothly. My team had to assist security until about 0300 and we had to be up n working at 0600 so that kinda sucked but with a sold out venue it's going well.

Gray, rainy morning, will give way to a gear, not-so-rainy day.

Finished a breakfast which would have fed 3 Somali families.

Three friends from high school to have a couple drinks and misremember and amplify our considerable dumb decisions we made. Thankfully, due to all the alcohol consumption then, everyone is fuzzy on the details.

Livestream link.

Dunno what things get streamed and don't have bandwidth to check. Can get a trickle of bandwidth by the starlink hotspots sometimes but not much. No cell signal here

This rug I had really tied the room together.

Easy peasy day with extreme layabout.
Sinus infection has improved- I 'm on my 3rd day of antibiotics.
Got 4" of rain Wednesday night so I am draining the pool down a bit.
What are you all up to?

Not as hot this morning and only getting up to 105 today. Five miles done and a morning cigar on the patio. Cleaned the pool and balanced the chems. Now on to the gym and then......... layabout!

Planning a few day in the Az high country near Flagstaff soon.

Relay for Life.

A race like thingy (not really a race) it's a walk or run thingy in town and also a small festival at the community college. They do it every year to raise money for cancer patients and cancer survivors. It's a festival at the community college with food tents, music and stuff like that. Pretty cool. I live only about half mile away and seen/heard life flight helicopters buzzing around overhead.

My guess is that copters are there to support the event and let folks tour the helios and not there for real life emergencies.

I've never flown in a helicopter. Maybe I should walk up there get some fried dough and fake a heart attack to get a "free" ride on a helicopter.

Yeah, probably not a good idea... however, I could go for some yummy fried dough though.

Eight NINE!

Purdy much the same with me. But, I can boil water with the best of them so when I โ€œmakeโ€ lunch (โ€ฆusually on a colder, rainy dayโ€ฆ), itโ€™s 98.2% of the time ramen. I usually boil the noodles separately from the soup โ€˜cause lotta times the broth is too salty so donโ€™t want it to soak into the noodles. Add some sliced up Chinese char siu, roast pork, green onions, Korean seasoned seaweed and dig in!

I do a little bit of grilling but no smoking โ€˜cause my wife is not a big fan of the hours and hours of smoke coming into the house (โ€ฆeven with the windows closed and a/c onโ€ฆ).

Caught some big Red Snapper and a big ass barracuda, but nothing for the dinner table. Can't keep the red snapper here in the Atlantic. They say they're endangered. I say bull freakin crap they are. They're every-damn-where.

Frying some chicken wings for dinner. Had a major grease pop. Worst pop Iiโ€™ve ever seen. Got a burn on my arm and forehead. Shirt got completely franked up.

That was unpleasant but did just get to watch a SpaceX launch.
