Let's be honest: Everyone has known for a long time now that Joe Biden is both physically frail and cognitively impaired. Biden's allies have merely thought they could deny it until after the election. Well, the debate made that impossible, and now there's a mad dash to do "something" about it. Calls for Biden to drop out are coming in strong from the left-wing media, and elected Democrats are freaking out privately.

How did this happen? How did we get to this point? Well, some Democratic Party insiders say that Joe Biden was set up to fail in a "soft coup" designed to oust him.

"There has never been a debate this early before. Traditionally the debates are held after the Republican and Democratic conventions, which are in July and August," a former Hillary Clinton aide told the Daily Mail. "Most years the first debate is early September ahead of the November election.Biden's inner circle demanded this early debate. There is a growing belief this was a 'soft coup' because they know he isn't fit to govern and have known for some time. They wanted to test him against Trump early, while there was still time to replace him if he failed to rise to the occasion. Which, of course, he did spectacularly."

Another source told the outlet, "The whole thing doesn't pass the smell test. Publicly the Democratic leadership has been backing Biden because they can't appear to be disloyal to the President, but privately there have been discussions going on for a long time that he's too old to beat Trump.

The source added, "There were whispers for weeks that 'Joe's going down at the debate.'"

That certainly would explain how and why Biden was allowed to go up on stage in the condition he was in, rather than being drugged, which many suspect he was at the State of the Union.

And, according to the report, some Democrats are ready to pounce.

One of the favourites to replace Biden – Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer, 52 – secretly sent an advance team to Washington DC 'weeks ago' to prepare for her possible presidential run.

The team has been 'on manoeuvres', meeting with Democratic officials. The source said: 'Gretchen was the first to act. Now the floodgates have been opened.'

While Biden has insisted the debate – seen by 48 million people – was 'one bad night', his leadership is in crisis as he faces pressure to quit.

Jill Biden has admitted her husband knows he performed badly, telling reporters on Friday: 'After last night's debate, he said, 'You know Jill, I don't know what happened. I didn't feel that great.'

Former President Barack Obama has now been called on to 'stage an intervention' to persuade his close friend and former Vice President to withdraw from the race.

The source said: 'Obama is probably the only person aside from his wife and sister who Biden will listen to.

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer is also reportedly open to the idea of replacing Biden, which is a huge revelation. According to a Clinton aide, new polling figures will be critical in the coming days, with significant behind-the-scenes negotiations occurring. Biden's campaign chairwoman, Jen O'Malley Dillon, attempted to reassure staff and donors that Joe just had one bad night, but the mood was reportedly not good.

Biden Insiders Finally Come Clean About What's Happening Behind Closed Doors, Admit 'We Are Very Concerned': Report

The U.S. has gone from “All the President’s Men” to all the president’s mental lapses.

Carl Bernstein, the former Washington Post reporter who wrote his way into history covering the Watergate scandal of the Nixon administration a half-century ago, put a nail in the coffin of another White House cover-up on Monday, telling CNN’s Anderson Cooper that efforts to explain away President Joe Biden’s dismal performance at Thursday night’s debate are a smoke screen to hide longstanding problems.

White House sources have told him, Bernstein said on “Anderson Cooper 360,” that Biden’s obvious struggles during the debate debacle were nothing new to those on the inside.

“And they are adamant that what we saw the other night, the Joe Biden we saw is not an — a one-off, that there have been 15, 20 occasions in the last year and a half when the president has appeared somewhat as he did in that horror show that we witnessed,” Bernstein said.

“And what’s so significant is the people that this is coming from and also how many people around the president are aware of such incidents, including some reporters incidentally, who have witnessed some of them.

“But here we see tonight, as these people say President Biden is at his absolute best, and yet these people who have supported him, loved him, campaigned for him, see him often say that in the last six months particularly there has been a marked incidence of cognitive decline and physical infirmity.”

Bernstein was speaking after Biden’s comments on Monday’s Supreme Court victory for former President Donald Trump’s case claiming immunity from criminal liability for actions he took in his official capacity as president.

Biden spoke from a teleprompter for five minutes, as The Daily Caller reported. He took no questions from reporters.

Bernstein told Cooper: “I think that what these folks are saying and have been saying for a while is, ‘Yes, he’s great when we see him as we have tonight, but he also has these inexplicable moments that we are very concerned about.'”

For astute Americans who’ve followed the news of the past four years, about the only thing shocking about this is the fact that White House sources are finally coming clean.

Biden’s record of mental slips is voluminous. From forgetting the Declaration of Independence (“you know, the thing!“) or calling out the name of a congresswoman who’d been dead for months (“Where’s Jackie?“) to Thursday night’s 90-minute-long national nightmare of elder abuse, it’s been clear since even before the 2020 election that the now-81-year-old career politician is ready for rocker and a blanket in a particularly quiet retirement home.

In early June, remember, The Wall Street Journal published a blockbuster report quoting Democrats and Republicans detailing Biden’s struggles behind the scenes.

Democrats, meanwhile have spent years trying to convince Americans not to believe their own eyes, most recently trying to disparage the video evidence of Biden’s failings as “cheap fakes,” created by Republicans who are somehow controlling the space-time continuum to disparage the president.

But after Thursday’s debate — a debate Team Biden called for and set the rules for, in the undeniably friendly confines of CNN’s Atlanta headquarters — that bloom is well off the rose.

Bernstein’s report to Cooper simply nails it down.

For many, though, the question is why now? And the answer could well be because Democrats know that the Joe Biden who appeared before the country on Thursday is not a man Americans are likely to trust in the White House for four more debilitating years.

After Bernstein and fellow Post reporter Bob Woodward recounted their work in the book “All the Presiden’s Men” — that turned into Hollywood glory in the 1976 movie of the same name starring Dustin Hoffman (as Bernstein) and Robert Redford — they followed up with an account about the period leading up to the resignation of President Richard Nixon.

That one was called “The Final Days.”

When it comes to President Joe Biden, that could well describe the period between now and the Nov. 5 election — and then Jan. 20, 2025.

No, President Biden, the Supreme Court Did Not Remove All Limits on the Presidency

President Joe Biden delivered an address from the White House last night on the presidential immunity decision by the Supreme Court. While pledging that he will defend the rule of law, President Biden misrepresented what that law is in the aftermath of Trump v. United States. While we have often discussed false constitutional claims by the President as well as other false statements, an address of this kind is particularly concerning in misleading citizens on the meaning of one of the most important decisions in history.

As I have previously written, I am not someone who has favored expansive presidential powers. As a Madisonian scholar, I favor Congress in most disputes with presidents. However, I saw good-faith arguments on both sides of this case and the Court adopted a middle road on immunity — rejecting the extreme positions of both the Trump team and the lower court.

One of the most glaring moments in the address came when President Biden declared that “for all…for all practical purposes, today’s decision almost certainly means that there are virtually no limits on what a president can do.”

That is not true.

The Court found that there was absolute immunity for actions that fall within their “exclusive sphere of constitutional authority” while they enjoy presumptive immunity for other official acts. They do not enjoy immunity for unofficial, or private, actions.

The Court has often adopted tiered approaches in balancing the powers of the branches. For example, in his famous concurrence to Youngstown Sheet & Tube Co. v. Sawyer, 343 U.S. 579 (1952), Justice Robert Jackson broke down the line of authority between Congress and the White House into three groups where the President is acting with express or implied authority from Congress; where Congress is silent (“the zone of twilight” area); and where the President is acting in defiance of Congress.

Here the Court separated cases into actions taken in core areas of executive authority, official actions taken outside those core areas, and unofficial actions. Actions deemed personal or unofficial are not protected under this ruling.

It is certainly true that the case affords considerable immunity, including for conversations with subordinates. However, this did not spring suddenly from the head Zeus. As Chief Justice John Roberts lays out in the majority opinion, there has long been robust protections afforded to presidents.

There are also a host of checks and balances on executive authority in our constitutional system. This includes judicial intervention to prevent violations of the law as well as impeachment for high crimes and misdemeanors.

President Biden’s hyper-ventilated response is crushingly ironic. He was vice president when President Barack Obama killed an American citizen without a trial or a charge. When former Attorney General Eric Holder announced the “kill list” policy (that included the right to kill any American citizen), he was met with applause, not condemnation.

The Obama-Biden administration then fought every effort by the family to sue the government. President Biden would have been outraged by any attempt of a Republican district attorney to charge him or President Obama with murder.

He would also be outraged by prosecutors pursuing criminal charges for the deaths associated with the deluge of undocumented persons over the Southern border.

In his address, President Biden also claimed that “the law would no longer” define “the limits of the presidency.”

That is also untrue. This case was remanded for the purpose of defining what of these functions would be deemed private as opposed to official. Even on official actions, former president Donald Trump could be prosecuted if the presumptive immunity is rebutted by prosecutors.

What was most glaring for many civil libertarians was President Biden’s portrayal of himself as a paragon of constitutional fealty. He declared that “I know I will respect the limits of the presidential powers as I have for the last three-and-a-half years.”

That was also untrue. President Biden has racked up an impressive array of losses in federal courts where he was found to have violated the constitution.

This includes rulings that his administration has exceeded his authority and engaged in racial discrimination in federal programs. Indeed, Biden has often displayed a cavalier attitude toward such violations.

For example, the Biden administration was found to have violated the Constitution in its imposition of a nationwide eviction moratorium through the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Biden admitted that his White House counsel and most legal experts told him the move was unconstitutional. But he ignored their advice and went with that of Harvard University Professor Laurence Tribe, the one person who would tell him what he wanted to hear. It was, of course, then quickly found to be unconstitutional.

Biden showed the same disregard over the unconstitutionality of his effort to unilaterally forgive roughly half a trillion dollars in student debt. Courts have already enjoined that effort as presumptively unconstitutional (though an appellate court in one of those cases relaxed aspects of the injunction).

The address was used to reinforce his “democracy is on the ballot” campaign theme. Pundits have repeated the mantra, claiming that if Biden is not elected, American democracy will perish.

While some of us have challenged these predictions, the other presidential candidates are missing a far more compelling argument going into this election. While democracy is not on the ballot this election, free speech is.

For many of us in the free speech community, President Biden has become the most anti-free speech president since John Adams. As discussed in my new book, “The Indispensable Right: Free Speech in an Age of Rage,” the Biden Administration has helped fund and maintain an unprecedented censorship system in the United States.

That record is hardly supportive for a president claiming to be the defender, if not the savior, of the Constitution.

What Exactly Are Biden's Achievements In His First Three-And-A-Half Years?

In the wake of the catastrophic debate last week, Bill Clinton, most of the media, and other Democrats have been claiming that although Joe Biden had a rough night, he’s had an extremely successful presidency––basically the public is just too stupid to understand how great he is. Here’s this, from a report at Newsmax:

That’s what's really at stake in November,’ Clinton posted on X Friday.

Let’s break this down, one bullet point at a time.
Clinton said that Biden steadied the economy after the pandemic.

The recession of 2020 was the shortest in history (two months). It ended more than eight months before Biden took office.

Over twelve million jobs came back in the last eight months of Trump’s presidency.

That was over 1.5 million jobs per month, much faster than the jobs coming back or new jobs after Biden got in office.

No matter how many times Biden and others repeat the lie that he inherited a disastrous economy, the media just goes along.

Clinton said Biden made real progress on the climate crisis.

What exactly did he do? They seem to be very proud that he signed a massive green slush fund that was falsely named the Inflation Reduction Act to intentionally mislead the public. And, he rejoined the Paris Climate Accord, which basically permits China and India to do whatever they want with industry and energy, while richer more developed nations pay all the costs.

We have been told for around 40 years that there is an existential threat from global warming and climate change, and the government is throwing lots of money to green pushers to supposedly correct this climate change. The Biden administration took $7.5 billion to build 500,000 electric charging stations, and after three years, they have built a grand total of…seven. What a raging success.

So, what has happened to the climate in the last 40 years because of these government policies?

Sometimes we have record cold and sometimes we have record warmth.

Sometimes we have droughts and sometimes we have lots of rain and floods.

Sometimes there are small amounts of snow and sometimes we have record snow.

Some years have huge and damaging storms, and some don’t.

In other words, the weather changes cyclically and normally as it always has.
Clinton said that we should celebrate the launch of a successful effort in reducing inflation.

This was the stupidest and silliest claim of all; what a joke.

Trump left an inflation rate of 1.4%, and it skyrocketed to over 9% in 2022. Now it is supposedly down to around 3%, which is more than double the rate when Biden took office. Is that really something to brag about?

The inflation was primarily caused by Biden’s policies to destroy reasonably priced energy (gas and oil), excess spending, open borders, and massive new regulations.

I would challenge Clinton on what policies Biden “launched” to reduce inflation. I can’t think of any. The reason the rate of increase slowed is because consumers and businesses couldn’t afford continually high inflation.

The “solution” offered by Biden and other Democrats for when things become unaffordable, is to continually increase the subsidies. Whether it is health care, daycare, college, housing, food, or anything else, the “solution” is always to throw more government money, meaning taxpayer money, at it. Those subsidies make prices go up, not down.

When Biden forces companies to make electric cars that people don’t want, these companies lose money, and jack up the cost of gas-powered cars, which also increases insurance, loans, and repair costs. It compounds the problem.

Here are some things Biden deserves credit for, which may be why he isn’t so popular:

Mass migration from a dissolved border, which has made cartels rich, increased drug-, human-, and child-trafficking, is destroying cities, and putting pressure on schools, police, housing, and health care, and made our southern border is now the deadliest border in the world; dictatorially and unconstitutionally paying off hundreds of billions in student loans; making the world much more dangerous, as Biden’s energy policies are essentially funding Russia and Iran (we are funding both sides in the Ukraine-Russia conflict); and destroying women’s sports by making them compete against men.

It is truly a shame that people like Bill Clinton watched as Biden was unable to hold a train of thought for a single minute, and then claim that he is a great president. It is obvious that Biden isn’t capable of running anything.

Incoherence Day: Biden's Fourth Filled With Flubs Ahead Of Primetime Interview Tonight

Seemingly crumbling under immense pressure to undo the damage from a debate performance that showcased his plummeting mental acuity, President Biden's Fourth of July was a veritable fireworks show of bewildering statements and derailed trains of thought -- that saw Biden calling himself a black woman who was elected president as a child. The grand finale to the destructive holiday-weekend display could come at 8pm ET tonight, when Biden appears in a primetime, sit-down interview on ABC News.

Thursday's dark comedy started with an appearance on Philadelphia's WURD radio, which features a format categorized as "urban talk." Having already boasted about appointing the first black woman to the Supreme Court and selecting the first black woman as vice president, Biden short-circuited and said, "I'm proud to be, as I said, the first vice president...the first black woman to serve with a black president.”

In the same interview, Biden completely garbled his reminiscing about John F. Kennedy, Jr serving as a barrier-breaking inspiration to Biden's younger self:

"I remember, as a Catholic kid growing up up in an area where we didn't like, Catholics didn't get -- I'm the first president to be elected statewide in the state of Delaware when I was a kid. Well, you know, I was, I looked at John Kennedy and said, 'Well, he got elected. Why can't I get elected?

Later, in remarks to military families at the White House, Biden twice showcased another of his chronic symptoms, as he started a train of thought, only to quickly abandon it. The first example came as he attempted to trot out the disputed allegation that then-President Trump called dead American soldiers in a French World War I cemetery "losers" and "suckers." After his anecdote stalled, Biden tried recovering with one of his all-purpose rhetorical crutches, shouting, "We gotta just remember WHO IN THE HELL WE ARE...We're the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA!"

Another dead-end sentence came as he seemed to be making an exaggerated claim about putting himself in danger alongside service members in foreign conflicts:

In another radio interview meant to reach black audiences, Biden appeared on the nationally syndicated Earl Ingram Show. "Despite the low-pressure nature of the interview, the president at times spoke haltingly as he delivered his rapid-fire answers," the New York Times reported. "In the 17-minute interview, he sometimes stopped himself in the middle of an answer." For example, in the middle of a sentence about Trump's proposed tariffs, Biden abandoned the venture, saying, "...anyway, just, I don’t want to get too wrapped up in it, really.”

With his flub-filled Fourth in the books, Biden's next major opportunity to shore up voters' perception of this mental soundness comes tonight, when appears in his first sit-down interview since last week's debate disaster. The interview with ABC's George Stephanopoulos will be recorded during the day amid Biden campaign stops in Wisconsin and then aired in an 8pm ET "primetime special."

To counter suspicions that the network will edit the interview to Biden's benefit, ABC has committed to releasing a transcript of the entire interview sometime today or this evening. As we noted yesterday:

"Readers will naturally view the idea of a Stephanopoulos interview with justifiable wariness of soft-pitch questions and friendly editing. However, we're in a different political world than last week...

Given the debate-triggered earthquake that's altered the leftist landscape, Stephanopoulos will likely feel significant pressure to act something like a real journalist, for once."

As Biden staggers from one risky public appearance to the next, a white-knuckled Team Biden is surely sweating next week's schedule: Biden will host a three-day NATO summit in Washington that starts on Tuesday. As part of that event, he will conduct a rare solo press conference, which could well prove the most treacherous challenge he's faced since last week's debate -- and perhaps even more so.

Philly Radio Station Cuts Ties With Host Who Admitted Being Fed Questions By Biden Admin

Update (0815ET): It appears telling the truth about Democratic Party shenanigans remains verboten in America's media still.

Philly radio station WURD announced Sunday they would be cutting ties with host Andrea Lawful-Sanders after she revealed she asked President Biden interview questions sent earlier by his campaign for her approval.

WURD Radio president and CEO Sara M. Lomax stated the pre-determined questions not only violated their “practice of remaining an independent media outlet” but the interview was also “arranged and negotiated independently” by Lawful-Sanders, according to a statement posted on the station’s site.

“On July 3, the first post-debate interview with President Joe Biden was arranged and negotiated independently by WURD Radio host Andrea Lawful-Sanders without knowledge, consultation or collaboration with WURD management. The interview featured pre-determined questions provided by the White House, which violates our practice of remaining an independent media outlet accountable to our listeners. As a result, Ms. Lawful-Sanders and WURD Radio have mutually agreed to part ways, effective immediately,” Lomax wrote.

Lomax continued to call out the standard of the company when it came to questioning the White House, stating the station is “not a mouthpiece for the Biden or any other Administration."

As The Daily Caller reports, following Lawful-Sanders’s admission she used the campaign-approved questions, Milwaukee WMCS host Earl Ingram, who has also interviewed Biden, came forward Saturday and revealed to ABC News how he was also offered five questions by the Biden campaign and used four.

Finally, the interview with Lawful-Sanders (quite an ironic name), was notable mainly for the fact that the president gaffed when saying he was the “first black woman to serve with a black president.”

So, even with predetermined questions (and answers), the frail-old-man-in-chief still screwed it up.

CBS News reports Biden campaign provided a list of approved questions for 2 radio interviews

President Biden’s campaign provided lists of approved questions to two radio hosts who did the first interviews with him after his faltering debate performance, both hosts said on Saturday.

Mr. Biden’s Thursday appearances on Black radio shows in the critical states of Wisconsin and Pennsylvania were his first chances to show he could answer questions and discuss his record after a debate in which the 81-year-old repeatedly struggled to complete sentences and press his case against former President Donald Trump.

Radio host Earl Ingram said Saturday that Mr. Biden’s aides reached out to him directly for his interview that aired Thursday and sent him a list of four questions in advance, about which there was no negotiation.

“They gave me the exact questions to ask,” Ingram, whose “The Earl Ingram Show” is broadcast statewide across 20 Wisconsin outlets, told The Associated Press. “There was no back and forth.“

Appearing with Ingram earlier on CNN, Andrea Lawful-Sanders — host of “The Source” on WURD in Philadelphia — said that she had received a list of eight questions, from which she approved four.

When asked about the set list of questions, Ingram — who has been in radio for 15 years and said he doesn’t consider himself a journalist — said that the notion of receiving a set list of questions for a guest gave him pause, but also presented a perhaps once-in-a-career opportunity.

“I probably would never have accepted, it but this was an opportunity to talk to the president of the United States,” he said.

Policy Change

The New York Times has a similar take minus the quote “They gave me the exact questions to ask,” adding an official denial but also an ambiguous statement that one can take either way (third paragraph below).

Lauren Hitt, a spokeswoman for the Biden campaign, said it was actually campaign aides, not White House officials, who had sent the list of questions. She said it is “not uncommon” for the campaign to share preferred topics, but added that campaign officials “do not condition interviews on acceptance of these questions” by the interviewer.

“Hosts are always free to ask the questions they think will best inform their listeners,” she said.

Later on Saturday, a person familiar with the campaign’s booking operation, who spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss internal matters, said that policy had changed, and that while interview hosts have always been free to ask whatever questions they please, the campaign would no longer offer suggested questions to hosts.

That appears to be a denial but is purposely ambiguous. Judging from CBS, the correct interpretation appears to mean the the list of questions is anything but a suggestion.

An alternative interpretation is “Mercy, we have been found out, and the new policy is don’t risk it.”

No matter which of those is correct. It doesn’t look good.

Next Event In Biden's Dementia Decathlon: Solo Press Conference Thursday Could Seal His Fate

New Jersey Rep. Mikie Sherrill became the eighth House Democrat to urge Biden to abandon his re-election campaign, saying, "I am asking that he declare that he won’t run for reelection and will help lead us through a process toward a new nominee.”
Responding to a question thrown at him on a New York City street, ABC's Stephanopolous said "I don't think he can serve four more years." He later said he was wrong for "respond[ing] to a passerby."
Appearing on CNN, Democratic Sen. Michael Bennet said, "Trump is on track...to win this election, and maybe win it by a landslide and take with him the Senate and the House."

Depending on the extent to which the White House can rig it in the president's favor, Thursday's press conference could be a game-changer that takes the Democrats' anti-Biden rebellion to a new level of intensity -- one that, for example, sees the first Democratic senators come forward to publicly oppose Biden's continuation in the race.

We've already witnessed many major leftist media figures -- from Stephanopoulos to Jake Tapper to Joe Scarborough -- suddenly willing to speak frankly about Biden's manifest mental decline. With Biden on a precipice, Thursday's press conference could be a contest among reporters striving to cement their place in history by being the one to give Biden the decisive shove over the cliff.

The big question: To what extent will the White House be able to choreograph the whole affair? Belying their claims of being duped about Biden's withering abilities, the White House press corps has hitherto aided and abetted sham press conferences in which Biden has been caught holding cheat sheets that not only tell him which reporters to call on, but even give him the full text of the question each reporter will ask.

ZeroHedge and a handful of other outlets tried their best to bring this scandalous deception to public notice, but mainstream media colluded in concealing it. Now, however, it's a new ball game, and the White House can't expect such tactics to go unreported this time around.

Indeed, the Biden campaign just came under fire over the weekend when urban-talk-radio hosts at two stations said the campaign gave them a pre-selected list of questions when Biden appeared on their shows with hopes of bolstering his sagging support among black Americans. One host was fired for going along with the scheme.

Amid widespread demands for Biden to demonstrate his ability to manage unscripted conversations, the White House communications staff is between a rock and a hard place. Biden's grown accustomed to stage-managed press conferences, and is likely to perform badly if he's now forced to attempt a real one.

On the other hand, if the White House pre-selects reporters who've submitted questions in advance, it could be a scandal -- the one that should have already erupted when we and others publicized the practice back in April 2023. Team Biden must also think twice about hosting a press conference that's seen as as rushed or allowing too few questions.

There's another facet that will elevate the difficulty level: time of day. While a time hasn't yet been published, the White House last week said it will take place in the afternoon -- and only after an earlier-afternoon meeting associated with this week's NATO summit in Washington. According to White House sources, Biden is at his best between 10am and 4pm. "Outside of that time range...Biden is more likely to have verbal miscues and become fatigued," reported Axios. It sounds like the press conference could take place on the cusp of his danger zone.

On top of all that, Biden's embattled communication team has already demonstrated some jarring incompetence in regard to this critical press conference. Last week, Bloomberg reporter Justin Sink asked press secretary Karine Jean Pierre if it would be "a real, big-boy press conference," apparently referring to a lengthy, robust solo session as opposed to shorter ones featuring both Biden and some other official.

Showing an unfathomable lack of appreciation for how it would be perceived, both Jean Pierre and John Kirby this week used the inside-joke "big boy press conference" label as they referred to Thursday's critical event. Lacking context, Americans naturally took this as the failing president's handlers describing his activities much as they would a toddler's -- as Jill Biden did after Joe's historically-catastrophic debate with Trump:

I was just reading about this Project 2025 thing this morning according to the BBC. Some of it sounds like it has merit like I highlighted.
Other stuff sounds like kooky nationalistic stuff.
Anyway, the lefties are making it sound like Trump is fully on board with it and wants to declare himself an autocratic dicktator for life.

Project 2025: A wish list for a Trump presidency, explained

With Republicans set to unveil their new platform at the party's national convention next week, their presumptive nominee, Donald Trump, has sought to distance himself from a conservative think tank's controversial blueprint for overhauling the federal government.

The proposal, called Project 2025, was created by the Heritage Foundation and has been linked to Trump, with several of his former officials contributing to the plan.

The proposal - more than 900 pages - calls for sacking thousands of civil servants, expanding the power of the president, dismantling the Department of Education and other federal agencies, and sweeping tax cuts.

In recent weeks, Democrats have attempted to mobilise voters against the plan. They have aimed to refocus attention away from growing concerns about President Joe Biden's age to the blueprint, which Mr Biden said this week would "destroy America".

Trump has denied connections to the project, despite several of his former officials' endorsement of the proposal.

"I have no idea who is behind [Project 2025]," Trump wrote on his social media site Truth Social. "I disagree with some of the things they’re saying and some of the things they’re saying are absolutely ridiculous and abysmal.”

In response, a spokesperson for the project said on social media that Project 2025 "does not speak for any candidate or campaign".

Biden Floods Ohio Town with 20,000 Haitian Migrants: Ten to a Bedroom

Residents of the west-central town of Springfield, Ohio, are demanding that their city council do something to stem the tide of the Haitian immigrants that have flooded the city, especially in the aftermath of the death of a child in a school bus accident caused by a migrant driving illegally.

The town situated just west of the state capitol in Columbus has been a target of Haitian immigrants at least since 2014, and in the ensuing years, some ten thousand had moved to the Rust Belt town. But in the last four years alone, that population has ballooned to more than 20,000. The influx is causing serious pressures to mount on the town.

Ohio’s Republican U.S. Sen. J.D. Vance put the blame for the mounting problems squarely on the Biden administration, which is causing small towns all across the country to suffer just like Springfield.

“This self-imposed disaster is crushing the job prospects of our citizens, making it more difficult for Ohio families to find homes and draining social service programs funded by American taxpayers,” Vance told the media. “People who are here illegally should be sent back to their home countries as soon as possible, and individuals here on temporary status should not expect to stay indefinitely.”

The explosion of immigrants — many of whom do not speak English — has placed serious burdens on the town. Town services are being stretched thin, and costs for translating services, housing, and legal services have become a major expense.

For a few years, longtime residents were unbothered by the growing Haitian community, but over time, clashes have begun to occur as Haitians have become more obtrusive by driving illegally, piling into apartments and homes by the dozens, filling local schools with children who need special care in education and language services, and increasingly becoming a focus for government spending.

Residents are becoming uneasy as their town becomes increasingly decorated with Haitian flags, for instance. And some expressed concern when the Haitian flag was raised at City Hall instead of the U.S. flag during the city’s flag day celebrations.

But that uneasiness turned to outright anger when an 11-year-old child paid the price with his life for all this immigration. The incident occurred in August of last year when migrant Hermanio Joseph drove a 2010 Honda Odyssey into oncoming traffic causing a school bus filled with children on their way to their first day of school to spin out of control and flip over.

The accident left 11-year-old Aiden Clark dead and a dozen other children injured, some seriously.

The migrant, who had only been here a bit longer than a year, did not have a driver’s license and had never passed any state driving exams to obtain one.

Joseph, 36, was later convicted on first-degree felony involuntary manslaughter and fourth-degree felony vehicular homicide charges, both enhanced charges because he was driving without a license.

But the city has faced other problems, as well, especially in housing.

Migrants are claiming that some unscrupulous property owners are gouging them for rent and allowing a dozen or more to move into buildings and apartments where residency laws state that fewer than ten may reside.

“When I first came I was in a three bedroom house,” Haitian immigrant Patrick Joseph said, according to the Dayton Daily News. “We had more than 20 people living in that house. (The landlords) just rent the bed in the bedroom. A room can sleep like 10 people. And sometimes the house has only one bathroom.”

“[S]ometimes here in Springfield … one house have a lot of people, it’s not because we want to be with different people, like 27 together. It’s because some of them are not able to rent on their own, and they should rent a room from a third party. So that’s why you will see some addresses have 20 (to) 15 people,” added Rocking Horse Community Health Center official Johnson Salomon, according to the Springfield News-Sun.

The housing situation has driven city officials to plead with federal officials to help them solve the dearth of suitable living spaces for the mounting number of migrants.

In a letter sent by Springfield City Manager Bryan Heck to U.S. Sens. Sherod Brown (D-OH) and Tim Scott (R-FL), the town notes that its efforts to work on sustainable housing has been swamped by the number of migrants flocking to their town.

“But most recently, Springfield has seen a surge in population through immigration that has significantly impacted our ability as a community to produce enough housing opportunities for all,” Heck noted in his letter.

“Springfield’s Haitian population has increased to 15,000 – 20,000 over the last four years in a community of just under 60,000 previous residents,” he continued, “putting a significant strain on our resources and ability to provide ample housing for all of our residents. Despite 2000 additional housing units set to come online over the next three to five years, this is still not enough.”

“Again, without further support at the Federal level, communities like Springfield are set up to fail in being able to meet the housing needs of its residents,” the city manager concluded.

President Joe Biden Admits His $230M Gaza Pier Was a Failure

President Joe Biden admitted during his Thursday NATO press conference that his plan to attach a temporary pier to Gaza to deliver aid was a failure.

“I’ve been disappointed that some of the things that I’ve put forward have not succeeded as well, like the port we attached from Cyprus. I was hopeful that would be more successful,” he said.

The pier, which cost at least $230 million in American taxpayer funds, was operational for approximately 20 days and delivered about one day’s worth of food, according to one report.

Biden announced the pier with great fanfare during his State of the Union speech in March. It took more than 1,000 U.S. troops to implement, with many of them deploying from Virginia to construct it.

The pier went operational on May 17 but broke apart a little more than a week later. Breitbart News obtained an exclusive video of the pier being battered by waves shortly before it broke apart:

Biden administration officials blamed the pier breaking apart on unforeseeable weather, but naval experts say that the pier — which was known as a Joint Logistics Over the Shore system (JLOTS) — was never meant to be constructed in an open sea, as it could not handle waves larger than four feet.

The pier was dismantled, fixed, reattached, shut down, then dismantled again, put back into place, and then dismantled.

The U.S. military attempted to reattach the pier to Gaza again earlier this week, but the attempt was unsuccessful.

On Wednesday, the Associated Press reported that the pier would be reattached to distribute the remaining aid and then permanently dismantled.

As far as total aid deliveries, it is not clear exactly how much actually made it to people in need.

Much of the aid has been stored in Cyprus or at distribution points in Gaza. After rumors that the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) used the pier in a hostage rescue operation, humanitarian aid workers and organizations suspended their operations distributing the aid.

Sources also told Breitbart News that the pier was being targeted daily by gunfire and mortars. They also said troops were being given very little time to sleep, were working 12-hour to 48-hour shifts, getting injured daily, and, in some cases, not getting enough food.

One soldier was allegedly crushed by a forklift during night operations and was eventually transported back to Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas, in critical condition. There has been no update on his condition from the Pentagon.

The initial cost of the pier was $320 million, but the Pentagon later came back and said it cost only $230 million. A final cost estimate has not been released.
