The Dunning–Kruger effect is a cognitive bias in which people with limited competence in a particular domain overestimate their abilities. It was first described by Justin Kruger and David Dunning in 1999. This sums up 98.2% of the people here. You think RINOS and liberals do not post here anymore because they are afraid of your brilliance. We do not post here because you are morons who do not have the ability to understand us. Do continue on in overestimating yourselves and your opinions.

The irony is that people with cognitive biases (read all of us) are generally unaware that they have them. And perhaps that is the greater point: No one questions if they could be the one with the bias.

As a noted liberal (one of Cbids greatest assets) I continue to post here despite the many Archie Bunker personalities.
But where would the forum be without all the collective heads of knuckle?

Started as a general discussion. Then took a sharp turn into wrong forum noob!!!

Yes, I know HD was all over this, but I felt it had to be repeated for the other 98.2% that didn't catch it as quickly as I did
