Robert, he is allowed to change his mind after seeing Trump run the country as President for a little while, right?

I mean, Kamala seems OK now with Joe being a racists (as she pointed out in the 2020 debates)...

EDIT: Dammit, Gene and JG were too quick for me.

As for the selection of J.D. Vance, the Trump machine could have done better.

Could have done a lot worse.

So you’re saying he made those claims and then watched how he actually performed as POTUS, realized he was wrong and came around to be a big supporter of his?

Vance needs to nix the beard.

Last president with a beard was Benjamin Harrison 1889-1893.
Last vice president with a beard- Charles Curtis, under president Hoover 1929-1933.

Women in the burbs is who Trump needs to seal this thing with insurance points to spare.

Maybe he (Trump), thinks he has it in the bag now so he could take someone he personally likes. A semi-flex?

Vance did admit he was wrong about Trump in 2016.
Another big plus...he doesn't speak in word salad.

After watching Trump for 4 years, he changed his "opinion" that he was a serial sexual assaulter?
Too funny.
8track has been valiantly trying to engage the Moral Majority for weeks now about the sudden stoppage of caring about that type behavior...but maybe taxes are more important?

or maybe changed his "opinion" when opportunity arose?

Or out of fear of Trump like Rubio and Cruz?

Admit it...youse guys need me around here!

Oh, and Greetings from Cape Cod.
Seen a few Trump lawn signs in the local neighborhoods but I'm staying cuz I despise one party systems...kinda like forced integration of the Hyannis villages!
HA!

If Vance is even half the DANGEROUS EXTREMIST that the LEFTIES say he is, that's good enough for me.

my opinion of what makes successful presidents doesn't mean success would evaporate the stench of being a serial sexual assaulter when the VP position is up for grabs...if I had believed that about him/her.

Is your morality for sale as easily as the never Trumpers of the GOP?

another in a long line of morality claiming hypocrites...do as I say not as I do...the phrase that keeps repeating...Vance...if that's even his real name.

Listen to 8track.

The Hyannis signs comment was tongue in cheek...about me being here to integrate.

We're all just talkin' here.

Well then…my last and best argument is that I like my morality claiming hypocrite’s policies more than I like your morality claiming hypocrite’s policies.

But Vance is going to be on the ticket. If I was choosing based on my perceived cultural capital index score I would vote for Trump and Vance. If I go with policies that I believe are better for America then I go with Trump and Vance. I can’t defend them against whatever name calling will occur and I’ve called out some ugly names myself that I thought were funny at the time but it really didn’t make much difference to anyone listening. When people used to bad mouth Regan it pissed me off, but I was 20 years old. Today I just hope that I’ll have the integrity to call balls and strikes on Trump / Vance as I want them called on Biden / Harris. If “my guy” is corrupt then I hope I’ll be the first one complaining about it. In the end, I’m just glad to be swapping thoughts with other guys who are going to vote their conscience just as I will vote mine. And let the good natured jabs come. It teaches me humility.
