Another favorite Herfing Spot.

Strawberry Bluffs, just about 5 miles from my house.

I sat up there with a CAO Maddie, this afternoon after lunch.

Dave

What can one do there for a living, still whiskey? Sell yard statuaries? It is really beautiful!

Hell, I might could go there and live on my retirement check.

I could probably pay cash for a house and land with the equity i've earned in Kookifornia...

But... never been there, so I have no clue. Just making some general guesses.

How much would a 3 BR 2 BA home go for there with a nice sized lot? Say half an acre?

It is hard to make a living here. But it is a great place to retire to. Up until last week, I was cooking for my cigar money. LOL Most people, around here, either farm, work in the poultry buisness, or there is a Walmart Distribution hub, in Clarksville. Other than that tourism, is a large part of the economy. and then there is the underground economy. But I do not know much about it, except seeing people who never work, driving new fourwheelers, and 4X4s, right after harvest time. LOL

I paid $28K, for a 3 bedroom 1 bath fixerupper, on 1/3 acre. But I bought 100 acres, surrounded by national forest, for 190k a couple of years ago.

Homebrew, you must stop!!!!! I am not ready to become a Southern belle just yet! The first picture you posted is absolutely breath taking. I don't know why I never thought of Arkansas as a pretty state. Guess it must be my Yankee prejudice.

I was doing a little research and a house my size on half an acre, near little rock is about $140,000, New Construction. The older ones are a lot cheaper.

This reminds me how nice it was to go to the top of the mountains in the bay area and just sit and smoke as the sun goes down and the bay area lights up.
