I hate the cold so very much I'm dreading the next 10 months. The older I get the less cold tolerant I am and I wasn't very tolerant to start. Already been wearing jeans n hoodies and my birthday hasn't even passed by. That was always the end of summer for me.

Happy Thursday fellas

Late shift at work today. My least favorite shift. Go in 3 hours late and stay until everything's done for the day. Sometimes it can be lucrative and you'll be there for 12+ hours. But lately we've been finishing at 4pm and then I sit there doing nothing for 3 hours. Could go home early but then I burn pto or lose all the little incremental overtime bits I worked the rest of the week. Yeah I'm complaining about getting paid to sit n do nothing..

So far, I’ve sat through 3 hours of training today regarding using medical charting software to prescribe meds, make chart notes, and order labs… I’m a neuropsych student. I’m not credentialed to do any of this. Literally, the only thing I need this software is to look at neuro imaging and referral notes. Yet, I have to sit through this training and take a test regarding tasks I will never do.

I hate bureaucracy.

Since I'll be all sweaty by the time I get back from the dog walk most days... I'll wear yesterday's clothes on the dog walk. Yesterday had ice cream residue... didn't care.
