First off, I've ordered from CigarBid numerous times and love the service overall and the prices. Having said that, I have my shipping frequency set to Thursday so I had made a few purchases and added a Free Fall item as well. However the Free Fall item didn't get included in my order for the following reason after an email exchange:

"Free Fall Auctions close at the listed close time or when all items have been sold, whichever comes first."

Seriously this is not stated anywhere on the site (correct me if I'm wrong)... or at least it's not obvious to the buyer. Had I known this, I would have waited on purchasing it and not have to deal with additional shipping charges. Has anyone had issues with this?

CigarBid, your service is great but what you did in this case is not right because it's not obvious anywhere. If a buyer makes a purchase, it should be included in their shipping frequency since they've already bought it.

I would call Customer Service, and be prepared to wait a while.
From my experience, which in past years was fairly extensive, because one of the few things I purchased here regularly was the Jaime Garcia Robusto fivers on FF, because I could get them at $20ish back in the day.
In all my previous purchases, a FF purchase was treated just like winning an auction……..the transaction was entered and closed at the time of my purchase.
If I clicked “Buy” before my once a week ship day, it went out on my ship day.

That said, maybe they changed things in the last……….18+ months??……..been a while since I bought anything here…..

I don't quite understand you gripe? FF auctions are no longer available when they run out or expire on Saturday night. I knew that some FF are limited and I never talked to anyone about it so it must be spelled out somewhere. If I were to guess it would be under FF auctions and how they work.

If you make a buy and they don't ship with other purchases within you weekly frequency due to OOS or other delay issues, they will ship when back in stock and you will not be charged additional shipping. You can't buy a FF that is OOS because they just remove the listing.

Ok…..so my last order placed here was June, 2023.
But they definitely changed the Free Fall format.
After reading Tiver’s post, I went and checked FF, and sure as chit, ALL FF items end at the same time.
It didn’t used to be this way……..they used to end at different times.
Not sure when they changed this, and to be honest, don’t understand why/how that would change anything.
If you click Buy before your scheduled ship day, the product should ship.
What am I missing?
