Stump burnouts are below the surrounding dirt level, so I'll swing a pickaxe at the charred remains and fill em in someday. Need to get a skidloader here for a while, lots of earthmoving work I need to do. I think I'm just going to buy one. Snowplowing in the winter, versatile tractor the rest of the year. I feel like it would be more practical than a compact tractor with a front end loader. I had one of those for a while, 1950's International 300 and it was just too big and slow to do the work. Skidloader can do all the things a compact tractor can except drawbar work which I really don't need.

This is probably the last weekend I can do yardwork until the spring but we'll see.

Happy Veterans Day to alla guys and gals who served...and thank you!

When someone signs up for service to help defend the country, they are signing a blank check to put their life on the line to defend what we have in the comfort of our homes. There are not many professions that do that.

I respect all men and women that sign that pact to put their life on the line to protect the country, the Constitution and what us, the general pubic, relish in the country we have. We should never forget those that lost it all to protect these rights and those that returned to protect our rights. We owe them more than just a Thank You.

My hats off to all veterans and active duty folks. I owe you more than I can give back.
