Chore for tomorrow: Change the oil and the spark plug in the snow blower. It probably doesn't need it but it's worth $10 of materials and an hour of my time to make sure it's ready for the winter.
Prolly do a pork tenderloin in the slow cooker but the recipe calls for some red wine. I don't have red wine so I guess I'll have to hit the liquor store. Prolly grab a bottle of Merlot It's a lazy day cooking thingy for this recipe that I've not tried before. The recipe is as follows.
1 (2 pound) pork tenderloin
1 (1 ounce) envelope dry onion soup mix
1 cup water
¾ cup red wine
3 tablespoons soy sauce
3 tablespoons minced garlic
freshly ground black pepper to taste
Toss it in the slow cooker and walk away. Set it and forget it. Let the cooker do it's thing for 4 hours or so. It seems like a lot of liquid but I'll give it a shot. Maybe when it's done, add some corn starch to make the drizzling sauce a bit thicker. Serve it with some jasmine rice and some veggies.
