My freakin' gallbladder has been giving me trouble since my late 30's...
I just dealt with it on and off...putting off any surgery...
I heard TWO SURGEONS admit wholeheartedly that they avoid ALL SURGERY until you can't function or the pain is unbearable..
Their lives depended on their physical skills and getting any surgery has many risks involved...
My childhood buddy and H.S. classmate ( 68 almost retired) was a Famous Navy hand surgeon in the Philadelphia area for decades...he went in for an esophagus balloon procedure to widen his throat...the poor guy never woke up...died on the operating table from a complication..

I'm damn sure he researched the doctor bigtime and trusted him..anyway..
Like the other two surgeons espoused..." any freakin thing can happen during surgery "...

I also have a belly button hernia since the late 90's that I have never repaired..Tuesday night I almost went To the E.R. BUTTTT I powered through it....

I'm 98.2% sure I passed the gallstone causing all my pain for months on end... I feel like a new man today...my new 2 day diet is very light, a banana, coffee w 1/2 &1/2 , Campbell's chicken and rice chunky soup..cheerios w skim milk, fruit cocktail in light syrup, chicken and saladsw/ tunafish no salad dressing.
No beef, no gravy, no egg yolks, no cheese, no chocolate for the next month and very little alcohol...lost 5 lbs already...

Thanks rammie ,deadeye and tony...
I can't believe the change in my body...
From a constant 1.5 -2.5 in pain for 8-10 weeks
Then a solid 6-7++ Tuesday night to a zero today...

Unbelievable...

Tony...I have no idea...
But it looks like the tiny 12" ALIEN worm baby that pokes out of all the peeps in that movie...

Drink lots of water, Jonesie.

I drink 5-6 bottles of water every day. No soda, no juice, nothing with sugar in it. Wife makes me a cup of ginger and lemongrass tea most nights. Add a squeeze of lemon and a teaspoon of Rho turmeric juice.

Stones suck. I never had a problem with them but got an infected gall bladder, relentless pain, got that sucker removed and never felt better.
