Anyone missing an Amazon package in Massachusetts?

An Amazon driver in dumped packages rather than deliveing them.

Dozens of Amazon packages were discovered abandoned in the woods of a Massachusetts town mere days before Christmas, but it wasn't the Grinch stealing presents — it was a delivery driver who said stress led them to dump the lot.

A Lakeville police sergeant discovered the horde of packages during a routine patrol around 2 a.m. on Sunday.

The sergeant noticed items were "unattended" in a wooded area near 63 Bedford Street. When he went further to investigate, he found “three large totes full of Amazon packages that were spread out several feet into the woods,” Lakeville police said in a news release.

'bout 30 miles south of where I live...
I'd take 24 south to 495 south and Lakeville comes up quickly.
Near Middleborough, if that helps.

Gandalf (Gan, use to post here many years ago) lives in Lakeville. He use to host a herf at his place every summer/fall. Bonfire, grill out, swapping of cigars, general relaxing and fun herf. I think he still lives Lakeville - a town on the mainland just short of the Cape Cod Canal. Really good guy.

I rarely use Facebook but we are connected from back in the day to see any herf updates. I think he's retired and does some nice nature photography stuff for hobby or sells them (?). I've seen some his pictures on Facebook on the rare times I check out Facebook. He's a really talented photographer.

Apparently it was a delivery person that was stressed out so she just placed the totes in the woods and called it a day. The police guy found them so I'm guessing the packages were returned or redelivered to the appropriate addresses. She went to the police station the next day and told them that she dumped them off in the woods.

It could be worse. The Amazon delivery person could have just kept them for herself but instead dropped them off in the woods and called it a day. Probably not too far in since the police officer was able to randomly run into them on a routine patrol.

I heard that Amazon is handling it as a human resources problem.

Steve Lehto said it in: Amazon Driver Dumps Packages in the Woods Instead of Delivering Them

Jeff Bezos could care less if his overworked non union delivery peeps are stressed out....
All he cares about is his girlfriend going out of her mind planning their billion dollar wedding and regretting ever proposing to the
"SILICONE PUFF BALL QUEEN" WITH THE UNATURAL BLACK as death Hair, puffy cheeks and lips just like the wacky "cat lady" millionaire dutchess, that broad is so fake that if you stuck her with a pin....
She'd POP and fly away like a balloon does...alllsstt while spewing a massive silicone- callogen- and botox trail of liquid...

No you're not.

OTOH, did Amazon provide their employees with a safe room with tissues, couches, and kittens?

Amazon changed their CS too…now they make you wait 48 hours in case “your package is found”….funny to me they now have a substation here for deliveries and they don’t use the USPS anymore. Never had an issue with those morons and Amazon packages.

All the delivery drivers I know say Amazon drivers are the most overworked and underpaid delivery drivers in the country.
