All set to leave on my 9 day cruise today and....

This is the message I get from Royal Caribbean......

Given Hurricane Ophelia's location and projected path, Royal Caribbean is currently altering the itinerary of one ship:

Ships sailing from the Port of Baltimore:

UPDATE: Grandeur of the Seas will NOT arrive in and depart from the Port of Baltimore Friday, September 16, as normally scheduled. Based on the best weather forecasts currently available, Royal Caribbean now estimates that the ship will arrive in Baltimore at 8 a.m. Saturday, September 17. Guests booked on Friday's departing nine-night sailing should NOT arrive at the Port of Baltimore on Friday. Embarkation will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday, and all guests should arrive at the port by 3 p.m.

Rotten hurricans. Now an 8 day cruise (I hope)

be glad you know before hand. they will reimburse the difference with on board credit. stay up late and get up early. it will seem like a 9 day cruise that way.

were you the one that asked about cruising a week or so ago?

Yea that was me asking about the cruise...

Good news though.. I just got a call from Royal Caribbean telling me that the ship will definitely be here tomorrow and I get a $250. ship credit.

So not to bad.

That's why I thing cruising is the best way to go. Instead of sitting in a hotel on some island - scared sh*tless, you're on a ship that goes around the storm - allowing you all the amenities that the ship has!

I'm a big fan of the days at sea. No itinery - do whatever you want - relax!

Enjoy the cruise!

First line: I meant "think" not "thing".

You don't want it to turn into a "three hour cruise" like the minnow took....LOL

"the weather started getting rough, the tiny ship was tossed. If not for the courage of the fearless crew, the Minnow WOULD be lost"
