Good Saturday Morning to All! It's an overcast 51° on the way to 64° today.

Is it just me or Cigarbid really S L O W today?

Snowblower back and running. 3 inches on Wednesday, 3 more inches last night, 3 more throughout the day.
Then the cold arrives with vegence.

On the upside, it is warm today. 27 with a wc taking it to 20. Eyeing up a prenoon dogwalk.

Arsenal made it too intersting, leaving it to the 81st minute to score and eventually 0-2 victory.

Got the Saturday grocery shopping and gym work done last night, leaving today open for snow removal as the only required activity.

Probably go out for lunch somewhere. Have a hankering for a double hamburger somewhere.

Made it off the mountain and down to Denver International Airport. Flight left on time and got in the de-icing line. By the time we got de-iced, our pilots ran out of flight time. After 2.5 hours on the runway we are now back at the gate. We re-depart in an 1:50 after a new flight crew gets here.

Made it off the mountain and down to Denver International Airport. Flight left on time and got in the de-icing line. By the time we got de-iced, our pilots ran out of flight time. After 2.5 hours on the runway we are now back at the gate. We re-depart in an 1:50 after a new flight crew gets here.

plow guy came. lots of heavy slushy stuff out there.
turning to rain for the next several hours so gotta get it down to the pavement to spread the salt before it freezes again.
took me an hour to push the leftover slush away and clear two sewers so the ponds on the street would drain!

Still raining, and windy too. Turning to snow later.

Creek is up, lots of standing water in the yard, but it didn't flood. No way we got 2.72 inches of rain.

Areas several hours south of us got hit the hardest. Parts of Virginia and Kentucky are severely flooded.

About 10" of snow overnight with some more snow/freezing rain on and off during the day today. I anticipate that I'll just hang out inside today. Do some domestic duties and general house cleaning.

Bought a snow blower a couple years ago and a couple electric snow shovels with strings attached. Neighbor kid blows out the driveway and sidewalks first then he can use them to make some money to blow out others. I'll pay for gas, ice melt and maintenance, you do the labor. It's a win-win situation.

Thinkin' about making a crock pot of chili but that might be a tomorrow thing. Yesterday I did a pork shoulder pulled pork... Carolina style BBQ. Apple cider vinegar rather than tomato based BBQ. Prolly about 5 lbs of shredded pork. It's yummy.
