It is the culmination of bike week in Scottsdale this weekend. I love the bikes, not so much the bikers. There's only 70-80 thousand of them, so no avoiding them.

We went with our realtor to see an amazing house in our budget, but it had a tiny tiny yard. Barely room to put in a little splash pool. I vetoed it. Wifey loved the house and is not happy right now.

I had a good run. All 4 of my final 4 picks were in there... but both games I picked the losers. Duke/Auburn.

Not bad for a guy who didn't watch a single game all year.

It's the rainy season in the jungles of Appalachia.

Our seasonal pond has returned and so have the ducks.

I was just watching them from the window and remembered that, last year, Drafter told me to shoot a couple of em.

I thought about it. Maybe use 20 gauge?:-k I think 12 gauge would be overkill.😟

I could sure go for a couple roasted duck about now... 😟

Coffee (cafe bustelo / costco colombian mixture) dog walk, gym, bacon and eggs with avocado on some toast.

Might run to the tackle shop. Forecast doesn't look good for fishing tomorrow, but ya never know. The fish don't care if it's windy and choppy... or if it's raining. They're already wet.

Successful day. Clicked all the boxes and then some. Even got a nap it.

Lessons learned that I will pass off to the community. Don't get in the middle of a pu$$y fight.

I live in a triple decker and my Son was walking down the stairs to go to work last night. He calls out "Dad, there's a cat in the hallway stairs coming out of the rain." We have a cat so it's not our cat. Maybe it was a stray that wandered inside the covered deck and in the hallway to get out of the rain.

I go down to bring it up. She was maybe a year and a half old (my guess). Bring it up stairs. It's not a wild cat. Nice coat, not knotted up, not malnourished... maybe a neighbors' cat that snuck out. I bring it in, show it the food and water bowl... no probs. I'll just text the neighbors to see if they are missing their cat.

The cat wanders around the living room sniffing stuff. Then my cat caught wind of the other cat and comes out of the bedroom. They make eye contact and all the hair is up... hissing, spitting, growling. Then it turns into a WWF cat fight.

I try to break it up. Bad idea. The cats aren't harmed but I lost some blood and skin. My hands and forearms look like I punched though a glass window.

Downstairs neighbor knocks on the door. You found our cat, she must have snuck out. Cute cat but the thing can fight like a bitch.

Lesson learned: don't try to break up a cat fight with your hands. Maybe use a squirt bottle of water instead.

Lolz bucky cats can hurt you. And they won't feel bad about doing it either.

I'm an animal lover however I like eating animal meat (beef, poultry, pigs) so that might qualify me as a hypocrite. I've had numerous cats and dogs over the years that I've lived with and support having pets.

I'm not a fan of declawing cats. Just my opinion. Actually I think it's illegal to declaw cats in Massachusetts unless its medical necessity.
