Good Wednesday Afternoon to All! Got back from the Raine just before a light rain started. Cleaning rifles this afternoon.

G'day... did the dog walk and the gym. Went to the tackle shop and got a reel respooled, then went to the exchange to grab some beers.

Eagle Rare was $32... it's now $52. WTF Buffalo Trace?!?! Or is it the exchange, just knowing they can charge that because everyone else is closer to 50 than 30?

Started to rain when I got home... one of my older neighbors was walking with his cane, trying to rehab a knee. Invited him into the garage to sit out the rain, so we chatted for about 30 minutes until the sun came back.

89 degrees. Hot.

We're prolly staying in this evening.

Hoping for the rain tomorrow, which is still in the forecast.

Good Thursday Morning to All! Breakfast and coffee done. Dental appointment finished, waiting for the numbing shots to wear off, ugh.

Mornin gents. Four miles done and on to da gym. A nice 67 going to 97 today.

After the reuglar weekday stuff, got my mR. joNEs on and cashed in three bags of crushed cans for a cool $19.
O'Reilly Auto Part had customer appreciation day. Scored a free double hamburger and a coke.

Topped off the tires to quell the low tire warning.

Swept the latest oak tree scourge (the uber allergy-ridden things that look like dried out centipedes).
Used the leaf blower to rid the driveway of the same, cleaned out some of the grooves.

Squirrels fed in the back, birds in the front along with water in a cigar ashtray. They seem to like the water, or at least are taking it as a nice secondary gift if they were stopping for a cigar.

Bills paid and still have a few bucks in the checking account.

Only downside of the day is it looks like I need a new pellet gun. That and me being taunted by a chipmunk.

It never rained, so we mowed this evening.

If it doesn't rain by tomorrow evening we're gonna water the gardens 😞

Thunder lost a nail bitter... I think they'll learn from it tho.. 😟

Mornin folks. Maybe one more day under 100 before it gets crispy around here for the next four months. Planning a small trip to the north country next week to hike in the pines and a visit with our daughter.
