Heat finally broke, rain came through, landing us on 71 degrees for the high.
Still humid with more rain tomorrow.
Kuba is back to abnormal. A good day here.

About as hot as yesterday, which is plenty hot, but not that humid, for here anyway. It's 97° on the way to 99° today. Breakfast, lunch and a range trip done, enjoying coffee.

I've had the problem off and on over the years, starting in the 80's when I was still running. Used orthotics in my shoes to reduce pain while walking at work. Worse case was 12-13 years ago. I went to Kaiser Orthopedics and the doctor showed me the x-rays and pointed to bone spurs in my heel...but he basically said there wasn't much they could do except advise RICE (rest, ice, compression, elevation).
Therapeutic exercises stretching the heel and arch helped to alleviate pain but did nothing to heal the condition. I ended up stopping walking for several months and rode my bike instead and the problem went away...until now...not sure what triggered it, but I felt it coming but ignored it and kept walking, like a dummy who hadn't been to this rodeo before...

Happy Thursday peoples. Gonna be 76 going to 102 and I'm headed to the golf course.

The “power” of Shohei Ohtani - my wife will never be called a baseball fan but lately she’s been tuning into Dodgers games just to watch #17. Next thing you know she’ll be buying an Ohtani jersey! The Cardinals fan in me will be appalled! 🤦🏻‍♂️
