SpaceX launches Falcon rockets from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, Kennedy Space Center, and Vandenberg Space Force Base. They launch the experimental starship from Texas.

The ULA Delta IV launch facility got demolished two weeks ago to build a new starship launch facility. That will be fun.

That sounds cool....
How many miles away is the launch area?
Sometimes rockets fly out of a Delaware island? Name of it?
It is a private govt island that u have to be a scientist to get a special pass to get on the island, my friends dad was a scientist and we went there for a weekend in the 1960s...
And the philly news stations film it...
Then show them on the late evening news..

I’m approximately 20 miles from the launch pads at Cape Canaveral. It’s a busy place. 56 launches so far this year.
