Why would a Singaporean girl want me to take her to America? Percapita they have more money than us (I know she's not hurting for cash....thanks to daddy), and Singapore has an open visa policy with the USA. Are you one of those guys that watches too many Vietnam war movies and you have the misguided perception that Asians are poor or something? I bet you are.

Not really. Singapore's GDP per capita adjusted for purchasing power parity is about 70% of ours.

I doubt you'd find too many girls there who are eager to move to the US to escape poverty stricken Singapore, though. It's nice, clean, prosperous, and safe.

You're right about the money thing....

There is a pretty wide gap between the have's and the have not's here. There is a large middle class, but in terms of income, they make less than us. I think they do fine though.

The one's with money however (and there are SO many) do quite well.

Along with Hong Kong, Bev Hills, Ginza Tokyo, and Manhattan, you really are amongst the cosmopolitan world when you're tooling around this joint.....
