Hey HB,

I've been looking to upgrade my 2MP camera and can't find anything that shoots as well for less than $500!

Hey Andy,

That's why I am still using mine as well. I am looking at the Kodaks, after borrowing a friends. They seem to do OK, but I am still having trouble finding a good camera with multiple lenses, for under $700. I like to do Macro work, but for now I will stick with my old Canon 35mm for those.

You guys ever heard of Brica? We have a pretty nice lil cam from them, it was fairly inexpensive and is (i think) 4.8mp. I took photography in college, but that was all manual stuff (it was before digicams). So i'm not that well versed on camera stuff, but just thought i'd let ya know. It does take good res pix (much better than my first digicam @ 1mp)!

Homebrew - I have a fantastic outfit that I'm going to sell. Minolta professional, complete set. Camera, lenses, strobes, factory dual motor drive grip, tripod, macro, many attachments. Manual and books. Cost was around $1100. I'm going to sell it for $400. It's not digital, a film camera. My physical problems will no longer permit me to use it. It's a Minolta 600si, my favorite in Minolta's line. Everything in excellent condition, and a case that holds it all. Search Minolta 600si on the "E" site, a guy's selling the manual, with a picture of the camera.
