Russ, I have it built into my cable box. It's not Tivo but I think it's very similar. I pay about 10$ a month.

I do like being able to pause or rewind tv. I also like taping shows I like and having them in storage. I don't watch more then An hour or so a day, a bit more on the week ends.

I still have it so it must be worth 10 bucks to me. I also miss it if I am watching tv somewhere else and miss something. I reach for the remote to rewind and can't!

I want one. I've just been too busy to do it.

I have it and absolutely love it. If for no other reason than the ease of recording shows and the season pass feature.

So used to it I find myself looking for a rewind button in the car when I miss something on talk radio.

Very very highly recommend.

Pierce, my Sirius sat. radio has that ability. I can pause or rewind. It automatically saves the last hour and 1/2 on the chanel i have on. Very cool. Nice when you are listening to something and have to answer the cell phone.

I'm sold. Time to add it to my Xmas wish list.

8, check with your cable co. I added mine at no starting charge, and it's just 10 $ for the box, but I turned in the old box that had been 3 $. So net cost of 7 $ a month .23 cents a day. Go for it.
