I just got the cd set of the old Superman series from the 50's

Does watching them take me back or what...

Anyone else remember watching it?

yup. my favorite was the episode that a theif put himself in a huge lead box....superman could not get through, so to get him BEFORE the statute of limitations hit the 7 year mark, they changed time--1 second per hour...he cut himself out 10 minutes before the deadline...off to jail. showing his supersmarts. good show.

used to love to watch them on the saturday afternoon re-runs as a kid ...

I remember. And I remember tying a towel around my neck for a cape, and "flying" around the neighborhood after each show.

And who, disguised as a mild mannered reporter for a large metropolitn newspaper. Fights for truth,justice and the American way!

I always thought it was kinda funny, when he was shot at, he would just stand there and the bullets would bounce off his chest. But when the bad guy threw the empty gun at him, he would duck outta the way..??
