Gr8...how close to BART is this fiesta? As you know I am coming before the Raider game. Probably will get there after 1pm (gotta go on the wife's schedule). I'll probably have to walk if it is close enough.

rayder,
the San Leandro BART station is on San Leandro Blvd. Almost directly as you walk out turn to the left and you should see W.Juana Ave. walk up Juana ave about 5-6 blocks and you will hit Washington Ave. Turn left into the Parking lot for the little shoping center and the place is over to the right.

Thanks. I never strolled around S.L. Bart. I didn't think Washington was that close. That'll be easy. See you there!

Reserved seating on a first come fisrt seat basis. Just finished hooking up the new dish boxes tonite, 3 tvs with three tuners, just received a huge humi from a local shop that could double as a foot locker, ups and fedex guys have been working the butts off supplying all the prizes on time no less not one shipment that I can think of has been late or no show. Today we got Newman family cigars, Toranos, humis, torches, electric cutter, butane so no one will be flameless, I am tripping over the boxes around here, Lew ands Co. sent three dress boxes of Bolivar maduro, Andy Kossin sent a great humi, My local shop a box of chairmans reserve Upmann torps, and more I am too ttired to remember. LA Luna, Bucanero, also present and accounted for. Bring smokes for the football pools and football bets, bring sticks you used to like for tradin, bring beer and pizza money or I am in deep DOODOO, most of all bring your A$$ to the herf. Looking forward to meeting all and am happy to have Cigar Queen at the herf. Everyone drive carefully and I promise not to put out all the samples at once. Thanks for the incredible response and support see all you herfers in 32 hours. NITEY NITE

Mark, sounds great...wish I could come over but too far and have to work. Maybe someone can plan one in the NY area, since I've never been to anything like that before...actually, I've never been in any Herf parties before.
Anyway, good luck and you guys have fun......Go JETS!

The SF/EB herf was an unqualified spectacular success ...

There were more than 70 entries in the drawing for 87 prizes, and every person in attendance went home with prizes, some of considerable value, each one being well-worth having participated ... four lucky guys went home with very nice new humidors, 3 large ones and one very nice travel unit, there were caps and shirts, sports memoriabilia, golf accessories and wine ... everyone got cigars, all of which were of the highest quality and I feel it's safe for me to speak for all in saying we had a fantastic time ...

A huge round of well-deserved applause went to Mark for having put this fantastic event together and to the owners of Sergio's Pizzaria in San Leandro for having made the space available ...

For those of you who weren't there, take my word for it ... you won't want to miss the next one which is tentatively going to take place in January ...

Hmm... I was only there for an hour so I only managed one cigar. The party was great for what I was able to participate in. Next time I'll stay for the duration.

The football pool was a great idea. Don't know who won, but there were some great cigars in the wagering box. I tossed in a couple for a couple squares.

Steve is babysitting my humidor that I won, since I couldnt take it to the football game on the train.

I want to thank Mark for putting on an event that was excellently put together, well supplied and very well attended. Wife sent me to the shower as soon as I got in from the game and impounded all my clothes. I wonder what 10 hours would have been like. I would have liked to have imbibed in a few more cigars, since the selection was great. Next time I won't be pressed to get to the game.
