the type of humidification device i have the water sits in a resevior, does that 50/50 solution work if i just squirt some into the the water??

hells bells if your resevior holds a gallon of water like mine, that would be very expensive!

I don't think it would do any good. THe purpose of the ethylene glycol solution is to regulate the humidity at approximately 70 percent. THat's what the 50-50 solution is supposed to give you. It actually removes humity from the air, to a certain degree, if the humidity gets too high. But if you have an open container of water, I don't see how this can work.

It will work even if you can't figure out how.
