Couldn't help but think of Rick when I saw this photo. Thought he'd get quite a chuckle out of it -- hope it's not fodder? If you get a chance, watch Journey with George on HBO. It's great and shows a wonderful side of GW.

I was gonna post this also. It was send to one of my co-workers by his son who is on a ship in the Navy. Sadly this image will probably affect the young people that look to this man as their Commander-in-Chief.

This same image is also in the current issue of Newsweek. Same picture but the lens caps are off.

Just shows ya that you can not trust things you see or hear on the internet. Even a news clip does not tell you the whole story. Remember the black kid that was being beat by the white officer at the gas station? The kid was squeezing the officers testicals out of the view of the camera. When the truth came out the story just went away. No one reported why.

i have been telling you guys there is less to him then meets the eye.

I did that once.

I put the binoculars up to my eyes, realized that the lens caps were on and took them down to take the caps off.

Fortunately for me, no one had a long distance video of me doing it. I was lucky, because someone can take a still from the video and put it out over the internet and make it look like I was, stupidly, looking out of a pair of binoculars with the lens cap on.

Not a Bush fan, but I am not a fan of stupid digs either.

That is a pretty funny photo, but who has never had that happen to them, with either a camera or binoculars?

i really don't "hate" him. i don't.

i just talked to some one in my office and he enlightened me. w is the perfect guy to represent a company or organization. he is amiable, has a certain "down home charm", a good hand shaker. he's the kind of guy you would want to place an order with.
not technically qualified to discuss details, but able to answer any questions without giving any answers and making you feel like he answered your question.

all in all, a perfect front man.

I am sure he took the covers off immediately .It can happen to the best of us.
