I was just outside smoking my first ever CAO (a black label I got here at cbid) when I droppped it. Normally that wouldn't be a big deal, but there are 4 inches of snow on the ground. It sank right in and got good and soggy. I was really enjoying it too.

Just felt the need to share, I figured many of you can relate. I'm gonna have to be a whole lot more careful when I go out for another smoke.

Smoke your cigars with the cello on then if you drop em they are protected. Always wear protection.

A little bit of snow here in Columbus, Ohio but cold!

It was that cold and you went outside!? Its 47° here and I only stay out long enough to get in the car and get inside.

You might have tried Rick's suggestion of putting it in the microwave for a short time to dry it out ... I've been waiting for someone to write and tell us how that worked out for them ... I know it sounds goofy, but hey, it came from Rick, so how goofy could it really be? ... and let's face it, at that point you had absolutely nothing to lose, right?

Steve, did you know microwaves have been used as a method of killing the feared tobacco beetle?

Next time use a safety line made out of dental floss and attach it to a button.

I've dropped many in the pool so I've learned to smoke budget cigars while swimming.

I'll take ten feet of snow and a tornado in a trailer park before California and Rob Reiner.

Amen aberdeen. Old Robby should have had his a$$ kicked by Archie. And why is it that only 1 state in the whole goddamn US insists on putting warning labels on everything tobacco related? God bless all you Cali cigar smokers for putting up with all that crapola that goes on out there.

Better to drop it in the snow than in the toilet. They are really soggy and hard to smoke after that!

Help. I'm a conservative caught in the most liberal State in the Union. I gladly surrender to my surroundings (and the occasional earthquake/fire) without having to deal with snow, sleet, tornados (you get the idea). I believe there are only 2 states (CA and Hawaii) where you can do a Quadrathalon (running 26 miles, skiing the downhill, riding bike for 50 miles, and swimming 2 miles in the Ocean). For those of you in deep white or cold, eat your hearts out~~: Think I'll take a dip in the pool.

JustForFun, you forgot NJ (there are a few molehills that you can technically ski on). I hate giving NJ props...

LOL --- electric bill was too much, way way too much (thanks to our beloved Governor). Agree with Rick, it's down to 67 right now. Think I'm going to have to bundle up and light up a cigar to avoid my lungs from freezing.
