Dec 7, 1985 (20 years ago) retired Supreme Court Justice Potter Stewart died in Hanover, N.H., at age 70.

You cold say he was a dreamer, but not the only one.

I couldn't get that song outta my head when I kept copy/paste that date . . . Anyway, I remember where I was back in 1980 . . .

Lennon hardly seems a poster boy for these boards, but what the heck.

Imagine there's no heaven, it's easy if you try.

No hell below us, above us only sky.

Works for me.

I did it with a girl named Yoko Ono once. It was pretty cool.....Kind of a tribute you could say.

I never got into The Beatles or John Lennon's music growing up. I missed something I think but I would be interested now in listening to & learning more about them & John. It was amazing today how today was all about John on Q104.3 broadcasting out of NY. He really left his mark on the world!

Lennon's song to his grandmother on the White album entitled "Julia" is haunting. "Working Class Hero" is a good folk tune. Who could forget 'I got blisters on my fingers' at the end of "Helter-Skelter." The guy wrote lots of pop music, hardly a reason to gun him down however.

No offense, but I haven't lost a wink of sleep in regard to him getting whacked. He was a drugged out whack-job who could write music. Whoo-hoo.
