She is a cutie, and a chip off the old block. You will have your hands full for some time now. Later on she will appreciate it, and thank you for protecting her as well.

I tell my kids that I am their parent first and their friend second. There will be plenty of time for friendship later, you need to watch over her now. Keep the sharks away.
