I just lit my first one. I can't believe how dark it is. Do they color these or something? It is really mild for a dark smoke. Then again, I just lit it. I'll see how it goes.

Never tried one but from what I hear all of the dark wrappers are colored in some fashion. Some are cured with heat others are died. I would guess the sharks are dyed. If you liked it then it really does not matter.

Didja like it? I heard more negative opinions than positive.

It was not bad. Pretty mild, and not a lot of interesting flavor, but it did not suck. I can't say I will ever crave it the way I crave a CAO or Fuente 8-9-8, but it's definitely smokeable. I just can't believe how dark they are. Seems unnatural.

They are definitely dyed or colored in some fashion. The first clue was the black getting on my fingers. The proof though was when I got to the very end and the outer wrapper started to flake off leaving what looked like a regular maduro wrapper underneath.
