i am watching the hearings to determine whether judge alito should become a supreme court judge. some of the talk gets repetitious and my mind wanders into the minutia of the hearings

i remember jack parr calling the senate the most exclusive men's club in the world. he did not mean it as a compliment,

i needed two chairs to sit on, one in my office, and one in my home office. since the cost comes right out of my pocket, when i found the chair that fit me comfortably, i priced it at something over $125.00. the clerk at office depot told me they would go on sale in three months.

three months later, i bought the chairs for a little under $80.00.

it's a shame i couldn't do what the senators do, spend your tax money and buy leather chairs that cost in the neighbor hood of $800.00, and not have to wait until they were on sale.

Rick - Maybe this will help . . . . . Due to pain I was prescribed a special cushion for my wheelchair. The cushion alone cost $720.00! Not a chair, just a cushion. Now, you'll feel better about the cost of that chair. Hope it's a good one and adapts quickly to your anatomy.

if that is what you need and that is what it cost, i am glad you have it.

my chair fits.

why do senators need expensive chairs? are their asses more important than ours?
