Thanks All for the kind words...

this was my Daughters BD party a whopping 23 now and has the world by the tail... she graduates in May with her Degree's and has already been accepted by a firm out of Chicago come June with a Starting salary at 120K

not to shabby for all the effort and hard work she has put into her schooling over the years eh?

I'm very proud of her!

Johnny, he is doing allot better, many of you may know or may not know of the recent events in his life? Anyways it has been like a soap opera series on his events... on December 20th he was released back to full duty.. meaning he can drive, work etc.. no limitations... his Doctor and the hospital ??failed?? to have him completely tested and evaluated at all by Physcologist while he was going through outpatient rehab. and this was a no-no and something that should have happened.. (I've/We've already had many discussions with administrators and including his previous doctor who released him without fullfilling this block for outpatient services) So Johnny is rescheduled with another doctor/physcologist to do this testing and then see what if any counciling will be required? from the family's standpoint Jonathon was released to early (mother assisted in this action as well) and he has many questions about his accident and his abilities right now that family and friends cannot answer... he is going through allot... his mother kicked him out of his home on the 22 December and left him with a stack of medical bills the insurance did not cover and basically with the clothes on his back... she "Failed as his Guardian" She was in charge of all his affairs and was to maintain these affairs for him.. She instead milked some $4200.00 from the State.. did not pay one of his co-payments for doctors visits and robbed him of his food stamps while he was in her care... She also added her boyfriend onto his cell phone plan and just prior to her deserting him she had allowed the cell phone to fall behind 3 months and let it run this way the entire time Johnny was incapacitated she again stuck him with a $698.00 phone bill and took the two phones when she left.. leaving him with binding contracts and expenses to pay monthly on these phones as well... to cancil the contracts it would cost him $250.00 each phone...

Johnny and I have since, canciled the one line she had added while he was in her care at no cost (non binding contract and a major thank you to the service rep who took care of this for him... he also suspended his mothers phone until the contract expires in March costing him $9.99 a month until then..

Johnny has blocked his mother access to anything and everything pertaining to his medical or financial situation... he has turned her in for fraud for stealing his foodstamps and food at his apartment when he was living there.. we also turned her into the defraud on unemployment because she was living (possibly working) in another State and holding an address until her lease is up and collecting/driving back every couple of weeks for her unemployment checks..

He is filing a petition for Small Claims court to collect the debt and burden his mother had left him with... but she first has to appear or show up to be judged?

his entire medical bills not covered by insurance are right at 6K and he hasn't had a dime to his name... he went back to work for 2 days at his old job (driving a forklift) and he did not feel comfortable or safe at doing it and quit.. he explained to them then that he didn't feel right about going back to work at this job for right now.. they told him they would keep him in their system and when he is ready to give them a call... He also has a fear of driving and always wants someone to be with him or them do the driving.. this is something the councilor can assist him with...

Now the good Progress update on Johnny...

He was approved by the State as Disabled (just last Friday) so public aid is going to assist with his unpaid medical bills that my insurance did not cover..

He had purchased his motorcycle back from the bank and cleared up all this against his credit...

we are getting him Registered for Fall SemesterClasses so he can finish out his Welding Certifications (something he has two years in already) and he Started back to work at a welding job this past Monday... and the Job is only 6 blocks (5 min) from the house...

He has been doing pretty good with everything and every day he's showing more improvement... accept for his Patients.. he wants everything done right NOW! LOL

I think he gets that from his Dad?

he started back on playing basketball last sunday on the "Old Man Leagues" are what they call them... complaining he cannot handle the ball like he used to... he has no problems shooting thats for sure LOL... I told him practice and getting back in the Groove is the main thing.. and it will all come back to you! it will just take a bit of time and practice...

well for now this has been the latest chain of events on John.. He appreciates and We appreciate everyones Prayers and Thoughts on his Recovery... God has been working miricals in his life because of it...

God Bless and Thanks Again All!!!

Hey Hog-
Great family pic. You deserve to be proud. Every now and then some chest-pounding and pride are in order for each of us. No reason to hide your family from your friends.

It is wonderful to hear that there are some silver linings to the storm clouds that drenched and tested you last year. The Man Upstairs works in ways we are not always meant to understand. Tell your son he was wise to stop the forklift thing if he did not feel safe for himself and others. It takes a stronger person to acknowledge their limitations. At the same time, he needs to get back up on the horse just as soon as he feels ready. The welding position sounds like a winner. Best of luck to you all.

And a large Atta-Girl to your daughter on scoring the big job. Good for her; good for you.
