Over the weekend, I joined the local cigar club in Appleton, Wisconsin. I hope to meet even more people with a similar interest in cigars. Does anyone else belong to a cigar "club"? If so, is it a worth while experience, or is it a waste of time?

I don't belong to one but it sounds like a good way to herf, sample, and trade.

If there was one near me, I would join. I'll bet you will enjoy it very much. I would like to have a weekly poker night with other cigar smokers. That would be my idea of a good time! Even a cribbage tournament! Play cards, smoke, shoot the breeze with other witty intelligent people. I am relaxed just thinking about it.

I don't belong to a cigar club, per se. But a group of us gather at least once a month at a commercial establishment called "Cigar Club". It is well worth the effort to get together with fellow brothers of the leaf. You'll earn a lot and about more than just cigars, as you'll meet people from all walks of life. It's worth the investment of time.

i dont belong to a club either but like smoker6 i have a group of guys that i get together with once a month or so to smoke cigars and shoot the breeze. i recommend it.

Damn, the snipe hunt is my favorite part! I've still got 2 snipes in the freezer from last time.
