I'm new to the cigar world and I've found some cigars that I really enjoy. I've also found some that I could use as kindling for my fireplace. I'm asking some of you more seasoned experts to point me in the right direction. So far this is what I've tried (and liked):

5 Vegas Robusto: One of my favorites. The price is right and so is the taste!
Perdomo2 Cameroon, Dos Rios Extra, El Mejor Maduro, the Acid, Natural, and IP Line by Drew Estate, Punch, CAO Extreme(whew, that one was ga-ood) and Bohemian Red North Beach.

Sounds like you're off to a good start, with a wide variety of smokes. Try the Don Kiki Ltd. Reserve 2000, an excellent milder smoke from the makers of 5 Vegas. For stronger smokes, try the Camacho Corojo and CAO Brazilia (one of my faves). An excellent low-priced maduro is the La Rosa Especial Mi Favorita maduro.

What JR said. Plus, if you like 5 Vegas, you will like Cupido, made by the same people, and kicked up a notch.

Ditto on the above list, except have not ever tried the Don Kiki! I would add La Gloria Serie R, La Gloria Cubana, Partagas Black Label for kick ass, Onyx Reserve, and on upper end of scale Bucanero (any of them) for Medium strength try Aristof (one of my favorites and really not available at CI) and Henry Clay!

Oops! Forgot El Rey Del Mundo. The Robusto Larga, Rectangulare, and Flor de Llaneza al all must-smokes.

Carlos Torano Exodus1959, Mayorgas and La Perla Habanos are all great! Add em to the list!

ditto on the Camacho Corojos (it's a powerhouse), Torano 1959, Perdomo Reserve Maduros, La Perla (draw's kinda tight, but well made despite), Arturo Fuente Hemmingways (if $ is no object), La Gloria Cubana Serie R Maduros (my fav), Onyx Reserve, and Partagas Black Label.

I'm gone for an hour and you guys really pull through. I've had my eye on the Camacho Corojos so I guess it's time to give them a try. Those will be first on my now huge list of smokes to sample 🙂

Thats what I want to hear! I like a good powerful cigar so I got a five pack of the diesels. The flavors just not there or its too much. I guess I didn't let them sit long enough.

Penguin, for another potent smoke, try the Cusano Corojo. Full-bodied with an almost buttery quality. Just make sure to eat something first!! This one will sneak up on you mercilessly.

Indian Tabac Super Fuerte. Any of them.
