Barry, I know that feeling! Yesterday we went to Busch Gardens and my son and I were "swarmed" in the Aviary. Those birds have it made! You plunk down 3 bucks for some nectar and they fly to the little cup, and vie for the 1st position. It kinda scared my son, but he laughed when one of them wouldn't leave my earring alone. He kept tugging at the ring, and despite me trying to get him to stop he'd move over to the other shoulder, and then hop back to pull on it again. It was a Kodak moment that will live on in the "lens" of our minds!

PS: I have 2 parakeets. One is an albino, and the other is mainly green.

Ahhhh...animals are wonderful! The birds are beautiful and the pups look happy.
My house has also become somewhat of a zoo as well.
cat #1 - Isabelle (Russian Blue)
cat #2 - Maggie (mutt)
cat #3 - Norman (22 lb. Orange Marmelaid)
dog #1 - Jake (Lab)
dog #2 - Peyton (G. Shep.)

Note: the dogs are mainly restricted to the back yard.

HEY! DMV, I think I'm gonna post a picture of Jake this week in your honor:)

No Rick, the little one is a Quaker. He is a 4 year old version of the baby I posted earlier. Green Cheeks can be pretty entertaining also.

Looks like a Disney set...

I want to sing, "It's just the bear (bare) necessities, the simple bear necessities. Forget about your worries and your cares...."

Everybody sing!

We have a fairly large herd of wild parrots that fly around here (Tustin, CA) in the afternoon. Sometimes it's only two or three, but the other day I saw a good two-dozen, easy. Quite a racket!

Do the birds get pissed when you eat your corn?

I went online and found a couple of places where I can pick up a DYHA. Prices wern't to bad. I'm trying to find a breederin NY not having to much luck. Most places I've looked at have counter to counter delivery. Should I use that or just drive down and p/u myself?
