Well, quite a few people associate dark coffee with being highly caffinated. Dark color and rich taste don't necessarily mean higher caffiene.....we are excluding espresso here. Actually, a medium roast coffee contains more caffiene than a normal dark roast. Richness of flavor has nothing to do with caffiene content, rather it has everything to do with the roasting process.
Chicory gives coffee a unique flavor profile and color(reddish-brown).
Now, do remember, CDM will give you all the caffiene you need...trust me.
