I tried one of these today......blAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!

Tasted like I was smoking a windex (with ammonia) dipped Partagas black. Nasty. Well, Im goin to put it in my new and mighty coolerdor for 10 years.

You'll be suprised how much these have improved after six months. They're one of my "go to" budget cigars.

hey xia, if they dont improve, you have to have something for those that like to come over and hang with ya, especially when they try to keep up with ya by trying to enjoy a cigar...I always keep a few of those cigars in the dor.

Ammonia taste or smell is a classic sign of a young cigar. And I hope your right jreddoch 'cause I just bought a box of the robustos. Got them here last week for $31. I like sungrowns and other Perdomos so I took a chance on these. Haven't smoked any yet.

yea, well i love perdomo (except for the GCC's). Hopefully theyll get better with age because the GCC's never did (even after 3 years). I love ammonia for cleaning my windows, but not for smoking.

thl, when they arrive, take one out and put in a drybox for at least 3 days before you smoke it. Put the others up for storage. These are a little young, but I never noticed an ammonia smell.

These are MUCH better after 6 months. Trust me.

I posted a trade recently and got no takers for my The Cigar churchills; they've got over 6 months box age and came in the 40 count box. I think they are only packaged 25 now. The offer still stands.

Ditto smithbw; and I think they are just too mild.
