After reading this story makes me wonder what they think the United States Military is... Chopped Liver, Sushi???

For the Record I think this is Cool How they are using Sea Mammals to search for mines... Dogs have Saved Lives in War Time for Centries...

Hog

I am sure that these Dolphins are well cared for and probably treated like Pets.

Go Navy

Charlie

Screw PETA

Are they against Sea World too?

Screw PETA

Those dolphins are trined NOT TO GO NEAR THE MINES! They are traind to find them if the exist and put a flag in the vacinity.

Screw PETA

Obviously PETA did not read the whole article or do any further investigation on their own. It was their typical knee-jerk reaction.

Screw PETA

I like my dolphin on PITA bread.

It makes a tasty treat!

F**K peta , only 15 cents of every dollar they receive in donations goes to peta the rest goes to the humans who beg for your donations. JonR

they also need to pay for all of their advertising, don't forget that.

I used to be a member of Amnesty International until I started checking where their money goes. Similar situation.

SAVE the Dolphins. The Navy should throw PETA guys overboard to sweep for mines.

PETA don't want me to have a dog or eat a steak neither. Sorry, PETA dudes. My dog is quite happy to hang with me -- especially when I give her some steak.

""""F**K peta , only 15 cents of every dollar they receive in donations goes to peta the rest goes to the humans who beg for your donations. JonR"""

Actually, 81% goes to program expenses. The rest is for fundraising and adminastration.

I did some work on the base where the EOD guys train and care for their Dolphins. They NEED those dolphins. And there is major $$$ spent on that program. You bet they are well cared for! Besides, like any good human animal working team, a bond is formed. Those guys CARE about those dolphins. PETA is just too damn fanatical.

Maybe THIS is Dan Marino's chance to win a SUPER BOWL!!! I always felt that he wasn't living up to his full potential.

Go Dan Go! Gotta love them Dolphins!

You mean the Navy has Dan Marino and the rest of THE DOLPHINS out hunting mines? I feel so stupid! I totally missed the point! It is nice that PETA cares about them.

overall PETA received 1 star rating out of 4 stars. not very well run.

Will there be cheerleaders on the beach???

Now I'm not one to gossip or anything, but I gotta share this with you guys(and Marla)because I like you and all, but Zach Thomas said the chances of the Dolphins beating the Iraqi armed forces is better than them winning the AFC title game!

PETA what a bunch of freaks. PETA = People Eat Tasty Animals
