Having been over in the desert last year (and bought about $1000 worth of cigars and humidors during my 3 1/2 months there...mostly from C-bid) I'll tell you that you don't need to do anything more special than put the "well-humidified" cigars (so the heat doesn't dry them out) in plastic bags packed in a strong box filled with packing peanuts. If anyone is interested in sending to some of my Air Force friends over there now, I could certainly get some addresses for you folks. One of the few good things about being over there is that we could buy Cubans without much trouble!

ksinger, you must be a newbie. Weve been sending cigars for a while now. I sent 60 myself 2weeks ago. many others have posted pics of thier gifts to the troops.

Spiny - it all depends on where you are. I doubt personal packages are gonna get to Iraq anytime soon, but Kuwait, Jordan, etc shouldn't be a problem
