The copy reads:

Does that farm stretch across three countries? I don't get it.

Yea, It's from the NHD ranch. Been there once on vacation. Good horseback riding, rooms a little small though..

According to the limited research I did on it, the Encanto was the first cigar manufactured in Honduras.

It is still made exactly as it was in 1964. This means that special care must be taken in the growing of the tobacco. All the tobacco used in Encanto is grown on one farm, including the wrapper, which is still Cuban seed wrapper.

As far as they know, this is the only cigar still using this wrapper.

The filling is from Middle-America (what ever that means). The binder is Honduran Tobacco. The wrapper is Honduran Tobacco from Cuban seed.

To me ... it just looks like a 'typo' in the description. I'll bring it to their attention ... and we'll see what happens.

In my research ... I found one site in Denver that is selling boxes for $80 to $115.20.

Sounds like a good deal to me ... if the cigars turn out to be decent.

I have not tried one of these, but I know that I gave one away when I cleaned my humi and sent out 3 packages.

I got a 5 pack of these a while back and have smoked 3 of them. One this morning after I saw the blowout deal.

IMHO, For 15 bucks you cant beat these with a stick.
I`m not one for reviews but I`ll give it a go.

Out of the 3 coronas that I have smoked, All had a tight draw. Just loose enough to get some smoke through without popping yer eyeballs out. All 3 had burn problems and big runners!

Taste on the other hand was great but lacks complexity.
Sweet and peppery, The finish about an inch from the band was so peppery that it had my mouth on fire! The predominant flavor is pepper, too much pepper? probably if you are a less frequent smoker. Kinda like a W&D with a kick!

I've had these before and they are very well aged. I don't think they've made this cigar for about three years. The ones I've seen recently, churchill sized, were covered in bloom. It's a decent, old style Honduran cigar similar to the Puros Indios line. Definitely worth this price.

I was going to skip this deal, but now I've read enough to make me bite. Damn you all.

Sometimes too tight a draw could indicate the cigar was too moist and I've noticed that "pepper burn" is the heated moisture mixed with the smoke that gives it that burn the closer you get to the nub. The most peppery cigar I've had is the VSG and it didn't burn at no point in the experience. Just MHO.

Funny,I surfed to the Brick-Hanuer(sp) site a minute before I saw the CBid e-mail notice about these.Wonder if other B-H cigars will follow.

Anyway,I'm gonna wait and hear what others say about these.I can't bear to stock up on more W-Ds.Though I would like more V/Hats,which are just about ready to smoke now.
