The Rottie is my smoking buddy Selena. She's about 7 years old and is the sweetest dog I've ever had. Gentle, loving and just plain awesome. No, she's not named after the Latin pop star.

The tomcat is Benjamin, aka Benjamass, our arch enemy. He's no longer with us and even though he enjoyed swatting at Selena and just plain intimidating her, she misses him.

I miss my Rott, Cleo, dearly. She too was the sweetest thing. She just didnt realize how big and strong she was. Had to put her down 2 years ago. Her collar and tags are still hanging in the garage.

Our Rott (Queen) recently had a litter of pups sired by our boxer. The pups are a little over a month old. Hopefully they'll all have here disposition. She's a very friendly dog and nothing like the stereotype that most people think of rotts. It's all in how you treat them.

What a Beauty!! The best dog breed out there if you ask me. My Rott was the greatest! Smart,gentle with kids, great watch dog. couldn't ask for better. God I miss him.

Have a Choc Lab now who's OK but still does not measure up to a Rott.
